I simply cannot see how you can't see that the world is round! It is incredibly widely accepted even amongst most religious groups! Anyhow I think I should explain why all 3 methods are totally wrong.

1. (Jumping)
Admittedly this sounds right and rather confusing but it makes perfect sense. We are spinning with the Earth so we have it same rate constantly, if we are to jump that does not change our velocity.

This can be seen on planes, when flying in a jumbo jet you can happily walk around and jump without being thrown back because of the speed of the plane!

2. (Blowing up a Balloon to represent Earth)
This is an absolutely rubbish argument. For the sake of argument assume at least for this gravity is real! This experiment would not work, for a start the proportions of a balloon to your paper are incredibly different to earth to a person. The paper is much larger, much, much larger.

Also I assume you are doing this experiment on Earth so the massive gravity of the Earth will have an effect on the paper which will be literally billions (if not more) of times more strong than the balloon to the paper.

Gravity is an incredibly weak force, for example your arm can lift up going against the entire strength of the Earth's gravity so how much of an effect will a tiny balloon have!

3. (Get High)
I don't understand this argument, the experiment simply doesn't work!

You would agree that on a flat Earth, large oceans would be a flat expanse of water yes? So this would mean that when looking out of a planes window over the Atlantic ocean it would flat! Unfortunately it does not - it is clearly curved!

For even more proof we have taken photos of Earth from space, a clear sphere! Just like the moon which you accept, how is that held together if gravity is not real, huh! And for real amazing proof download Google Earth and look how it fits together as a sphere!

If you look at the origin bible the world for 'days' could of been translated to 'eons' which fit with sciences viewpoint.

I prefer to look at the Bible with a lot of metaphors otherwise it wouldn't conform with science so, 'lies on pillars' I wouldn't think of that literally. Science and God must co-exist otherwise we couldn't understand this world!

I'm not saying I agree with James Warren Jones (he is but Unsaved Trash after all) but footballs aren't spherical, they're oblong. Do you perhaps mean a soccer ball? Real men play football, queers play soccer.

Wait, God is powerful enough to have set into motion all of this billions of years ago. God can make the sun rise in the east every day and the sun set in the west every day, but we are to believe most of His most important instruction book to man is metaphorical?

What else is metaphorical from the Bible? Maybe Jesus wasn't really born of a virgin. Maybe it was just a young lady. What if Jesus didn't really rise from the grave. His resurrection was metaphorical and in our hearts and minds. Maybe Jesus didn't really heal a blind man. Maybe He restored the man's spiritual vision.

While accepting the Truth of Biblical cosmology is not a "Salvation™ issue", strictly speaking, I have a hard time seeing how someone who refuses to accept God's Word at face value is truly motivated by the Holy Spirit. The "theory" of gravity is a secular lie designed to separate us from the Truth of God. When God pushes us down or causes one object to be pulled toward another, we call this alternately Intelligent Falling or Intelligent Pulling, depending on the context of the discussion. You will find that we have discussed the myth of secular gravitationism at length in this forum, so I will not go into detail here. Suffice it to say that once again, your deluded mind has led you astray once more. Without the Light of God illuminating your path, you are as a blind man stumbling in the darkness when you look for answers.

This is precisely why God warns us about thinking for ourselves.

This same tired argument again... As we have continually pointed out in this very thread, something being round does not mean that it is spherical. Do you comprehend the difference between two- and three-dimensional objects?

The Bible makes it very clear that the earth is a circle. Not a sphere - a circle. Not a three-dimensional round object - a two-dimensional round object. Again, your bucket holds no water.

No. Once again, all these supposed pictures prove (if you accept their authenticity, which I do not) is that the earth is circular in shape. These pictures do not prove that the earth is a sphere.

I do not understand the point you are trying to make about the moon, but the Bible tells us that God moves the sun and the moon around the earth. Modern theophysics tells us that He does so by Intelligent Pulling, which isn't so different from your secular "theories" about how the moon moves throught the sky. However, secular gravitationism falls short in explaining how the moon and sun are occasionally held still in the sky.

Starting with your last point, I don't doubt the metaphorical of this. Vast amounts of the Bible are parabols, stories - these are not true but just used to tell messages! I am not totally denying God's miracles, not at all but I don't find it all necessary to take everything literally, especially in the old testiment.

Admittedly your first point is intriguing, but I still find it fascinating that the universe could be created in 6 days, but all our observations of our surrounding universe point to it being 13.4 billion years old and to be expanding, which fits with all the scientific theories.

Please why would God create a world where science would not make sense! Just to confuse us, why would he do that? He wouldn't he would create a world we can understand and use wisely!

All your arguments are simply scriptures! You can't look at just a religion and blindly follow it, because that just what you do. You need to see the world around and see how it fits with the readings of the Bible.
