Huh? If you orbit something flat that is exactly what would happen. You would be visible from one side, at least, at all times. Try drawing as an aid, if you have trouble visualizing what you are talking about.

3 Experiments you can do at home to prove that Rev. Jim Osbourne is completely WRONG!

JUMP!
You state that if you're in a truck, and jump up, you would fall out the back. If it would be an open-bed truck, you might fall off because all of the wind you catch while your in the air.
But now try doing the jumping while you're in a closed vehicle (A bus or train e.g.) When you jump up there, you Will Not fall backwards. This is because the air (and everything else) inside the bus/train is moving at the same speed and in the same direction as the bus itself.
The earth itself spins at the speed you stated (700-1000 mph). But the Air that's within the atmosphere ALSO spins at 700-1000 mph (Just like the air in the bus/train!). This is why you don't 'fall backwards' if you were to jump in your front lawn.

The Balloon trick you explained, is in no way comparable to the earth, as a Balloon initially doesn't have a charge.
NOW TRY THIS: After inflating the balloon, rub it against your shirt for a good 20 seconds. Now repeat what Jim explained (put a small piece of paper to the bottom of the balloon). Now the piece of paper WILL stick the bottom of the balloon, as the Balloon now is Electrostatically charged, just like Earth is.
Gravity is caused by more than just electrostatic effects, but this test will illustrate that you can't disprove gravity with simply a balloon.

The size of the earth is bigger than you people probably realize. Look up maps of the earth, with a scale added to it, and you will see that it's immense (still much, much smaller than the Sun though).
If you were to climb a mountain, and look in the distance, the angle at which you look towards earth is still very small. Your height above earth is much smaller than the distance you can actually see horizontally, thus it seems like you can't see the curvation.

Now look at it like this, when you're at the beach (Miami beach e.g., facing EAST), can you see the continents of Europe and Africa? I'm pretty sure no-one can. There's nothing 'blocking your view' (like Jim said) when looking over the sea.
The reason why you can't see Europe and Africa is because they're out of sight due to the Earth's curvation.

Are you seriously saying gravity is in part due to the magnetic field of the Earth? Most Satan-worshiping Scientists would point to the moon, which according to them also has gravity, and no magnetic field. They would also state the magnetic field is as powerful at the south pole as the north pole, so your also ignorant of how a compass is supposed to work. And, by my knowledge, none claimed yet that you weight more on the poles than on the equator, as your theory would indicate.

And the winner is the ridiculous statement that the earth is electrostatically charged. If you touch the balloon, you get a shock. Try touching the ground. Do you feel anything? I don't think so.

Please. Read. Something.
Preferably the Bible, or some Science textbooks, so we don't have to waste our time debunking ridiculous notions even Atheists themselves think are ridiculous.

Yes, I believe that you are correct Thomas. This fool isn't straight with Jesus and he isn't straight with the silly notions of secular science either. I would love to watch him rub himself with a baloon every morning just to make sure that he is charged enough not to float off up into space.

Also he states that that we should think for ourselves. I prefer to delegate that job. If Rev. Osborne has a superior intellect to me then I am happy to let him think for me. You guys seem to be ignoring that part. See, that is simply an example to show why the balloon thing doesnt work. Another way for the "Blow" thing to be proved wrong:

So you put the piece of paper or whatever on the bottom, and it falls. Ok. Your point? It falls towards the center of gravity, the center of the Earth. So, how exactly does this prove your point?

See, gravity is a force exerted by all objects that causes them to attract to each other. But, objects with more mass have more gravity. For this reason paper will fall towards the earth, which is much denser than the balloon.

Some advice: Before arguing something, know what your are talking about.

If the Earth was indeed a sphere and you flew in a straight line you'd end up at a tangent and in eventually in what you unbelievers call space. This is why when you fly straight and level you don't do this because the world is flat. How daft do you have to be to understand this?

Here's a little experiment for you. Find a wide open space and blindfold yourself then walk in what you think is a straight line. I'm betting you go round in circles.

i wouldnt end up inn space, because gravity keeps the plane down as the plan is acting against it. If it were flat, wouldnt i see the end eventually? since its a sphere i can keep going around around around and see the same stuff over and over again. btw, humans cannot walk in a straight line blindfolded, impossible for any human to do. So im sorry for saying i fly in a straight line when really its a circle. Unbelievers call that area above us space? you dont call that space?
