I apologise, I did not realise it was a requirement of this forum to be irrational and rude.

2D geometry is easy. I understand that you can travel in a circular path on an flat plane. I just did it in my lounge room to check.... scientifically, however I must have forgotten to take into account the satan variable, because to return to my original point my compass said I had to head in a northerly direction before heading toward the west, then southish then returning to the east. This circular plane nonsense does not justify how you can travel west to end up at a final location which is for all intents and purposes east of your current location. Psalm 103:12 "As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.” By saying that the Earth is flat you are putting a measurable distance on this. east is the furthest point on one side of the flat plane and west is the other. If however the Earth is spherical east and west will never be able to be measured as there is no end point. There will always be more west, or more east - even if you get to the same point that you started from

Surely the idea that a satellite orbiting the Earth even making this forum possible makes you cringe.

As to the other replies there were no mention about the other questions i posed in earlier posts. All I know is I was polite and gave credit to God for his wonderful creation and you refuse to be polite in return.

If the bible is the only true thing that is correct then please stop using all the technology we enjoy today that rely on a spherical earth for them to be possible. Throw away mobile phones, computers, GPS’s, never believe the weather that is reported on the news again and please, never fly. There was never any biblical evidence of these things therefore they cannot exist! (as per earlier arguments).

I wouldn't waste your time telling them the true facts. They base information only off of scriptures from the King Jackass bible. If there isn't a scripture that says "The earth is spherical" they wont believe it.

We know the Earth is flat because the Bible tells us so. But for those of you skeptical, close-minded types that flat out refuse to accept the overwhelming Biblical evidence, I have designed some experiments you can do at home that will show you, before your very eyes, that the world is indeed flat, and not spherical as some crazy scientists proclaim. It's amazing how many people blindly believe in a spherical Earth, without ever having seen it for themselves! I intend to change that.


1) Jump!
Now, scientists claim that Earth is spherical and rotating at a speed of between 700-1000 miles per hour, depending on your latitude. This is a very high rate of speed. You can disprove this nonsense by simply jumping up as high as you can. Really, it's that simple. What happens when you jump? You come straight down to where you were. But, if the Earth were indeed spinning at such a fast speed, wouldn't you land hundreds of feet away?

If you were to stand in the flat bed of a truck going 75 mph, and jump straight up, what would happen? You wouldn't fall straight down. You would fall out of the truck. That's because trucks move, the Earth doesn't. This experiment proves the Earth is fixed in space and doesn't move.


2) Blow!
Since if the Earth is supposedly a sphere, it naturally comes to assume what would happen to people below the equator, like in Australia? Since they are underneath the sphere, wouldn't they fall off? This is where scientists come up with mumbo-jumbo like "gravity" and "centrifugal force" to explain away their theories. So, the scientists want you to think that because the earth is so much more massive than people or things, that people will naturally "stick" to the bottom of the earth because of gravity.

This can be disproved very simply. Get a balloon and inflate it as big as possible. It will be a spherical shape. Now, take a piece of paper and try to rip, tear, or cut the tiniest speck of paper possible. This paper represents a human being, much smaller in mass to the balloon, which represents the Earth. Now try and place the small piece of paper to the underside of the balloon. What happens? It falls off!

That's right. Even though the balloon is so much bigger in mass, it cannot hold the tiny paper. So if the Earth was a sphere, no one could live below the equator because they would fall off.


3) Get High!
Ok, this one you really can't do at home, but you can do it out in the world. Stand on the ground and look around you. What's the farthest you can see? Maybe it's a building, tree, or mountain. Now, find some place very close to it where you can get a much higher vantage point. (This also works if you're on a jet and about to take off.) Notice how in the higher place you can see much farther? You can see more of the world the higher you get. This shows the world is flat because the higher you go, the easier it is to see over obstacles. At the same time, it shows the world cannot be spherical. Because if the world was curved, the far distance would forever remain out of view because of the Earth's curvature. It would eternally be over the horizon.

If the Earth was a sphere, it would not matter how high you went, you would still see the same thing. Since this is not the case, the Earth is flat.


These experiments are all confirmed by creation scientists as being 100% accurate. If you're skeptical of the flat Earth, why don't you do these experiments so you can see truth with your own eyes.

Ok, people, lets try and remember which century we live in. We moved past the 15th century over half a millenia ago! Man, how time flies. Now lets get to tearing these ridiculous claims apart.

1. While the Earth moves, it moves the atmosphere and the gravitational field with it. So from our perspective, the Earth never moves at all. Of course there is no resistance in space, so there is no force available to push us away from the spot we jumped from.
2. This balloon experimet is simply ridiculous. Take a look at how big the Earth is. Halve it's mass until it has the same mass as a balloon. Then you have to halve it's gravitational pull an equal amount of times (presumably trillions of times). The gravitational pull of the balloon so weak that the only thing it can pull are electrons and other sub-atomic particles. But a piece of paper? Utterly impossible.
3. This does not prove that the Earth is flat. It only proves that the Earth is big. So big that we perceive it as being flat. In fact, if you go high enough, you can clearly see the curvature of the Earth.

Also, to believe in a flat Earth, you would need to believe that the every Satellite picture ever taken of Earth was tampered with and that every single astronaut in history was a part of a huge conspiracy to cover up a flat Earth. Which is even more ridiculous than believing that Aliens came to Earth thousands of years ago to assist the ancient Peruvians to draw the Nazca Lines.

On point No. 1 you suggest that the gravitational field rotates around your round Earth. Surely secular science tells us that gravity is caused by curved spacetime around a mass. Are you suggesting that curved spacetime is incorrect? I believe that secular science is looking for a unified theory. Maybe you should call them and let them know that Einstein was wrong and you have all the secular answers.

Of course all the answers were given to us in the KJV1611 by the Creator. There is no point looking any further.

Apart from the bit about the aliens being the wrong way round. Who would believe in some sort of magic beings from outside the world popping in from time to time to perform inexplicable acts in the distant past where it's beyond reasonable scrutiny? Why would I take the word of a stranger over the word of God? Even if I was taken up into 'space' and saw what looked like a curved Earth I would not trust my own eyes. I believe this is what atheists refer to as occum's razor. What is more likely? That God is wrong or I am under a hallucination? Clearly God cannot be wrong therefore the Earth is flat.

Wrong. Science takes time and effort to understand. New theories build upon older ones over millenia. By contrast, the bible was written and, aside from translations, has not been altered since it was completed 2000 years ago. The real laziness is in stating,

There is a sincere problem with this stance. Why would God give us the tools and the ability to understand the natural world through empirical experiments if he did not intend for us to use them? Many parts of the bible are understood as moral descriptions, not to be taken literally (for example, most of us would agree that even if a woman is a prostitute it is not right to go out and kill her). Why is it unreasonable to assume that when descriptions of the natural world conflict with what we see, then those descriptions aren't WRONG, they're FIGURATIVE?

I understand that it's hard to comprehend all of science at once. It is a system of knowledge built over thousands of years, and no one person understands all of it. No one person can. What science gives us is a method of observing and testing the world around us. If you have the curiosity and the patience to understand a subject, you can look at what other people have found over the centuries and you can come to understand it yourself. But resorting to the bible and saying, "I don't need to look any further because the answer (which may be figurative) is right here", well, THAT seems to me to be true laziness.

That being said, I have another objection: GPS. GPS depends on Einstein's theory of relativity, and by extension Newtonian physics and gravity. It would not work with a flat earth or a universe without gravitational fields and relativity. Anyone can go out and buy a GPS unit and see that it works. How do you explain this device, created by science, based on science, in terms of the theories of the bible?

We do not need any of the false-claims of sickular science because we have the Jesus and his Word, the bible. All of the answers are in the bible. If they are not in the bible, and backed by scripture, they are the lies of the devil.

1) Walk and walk and walk and walk and walk some more

iBet if you did that, you would not fall off the edge of the world. If you where able to walk in a straight line, you would end up where you started. Thus the earth it round.

2) Is the balloon spinning?

NOPE. That balloon is not spinning. If the balloon was spinning at a relative speed the same as the earth in a vacume so it was equal to space. Then the paper would stay.

3) Go to space

Go to space, or view space photos, its is clear to see that the world is round. If it was flat then doing so then the people on the bit you could not see would not exist :/
