you can test laws and theorys. and who knows maybe we will find god maybe not but only through sceince faith can only take you so far. now i think you religion is wonderful but maybe parts of it are just "god" testing you? to see if you can think for youselves. so far it doesnt look very good.

Most Christians, even most Baptists, believe that the earth is round. The evidence is overwhelming. These three experiments are just silly and it is scary to think that one of your respondents is considering them for home schooling.

I do not have faith that God made the sun stand still for Joshua. To abandon thousands of years of evidence, unanimous scientific consensus, and the experience of astronauts and anyone who has travelled around the world is blind faith.

When the Sun goes behind a cloud, you have no proof that it will come out again; you believe it will on blind faith. American children believe in the existence of China on sheer blind faith, because they saw a picture of it in a book. Yet China exists and the Sun always returns from behind the clouds, without a doubt! So blind faith is a perfectly reasonable way to acquire knowledge.

Nobody actually relies on evidence for what they believe. Valuing evidence is just something that pretentious liberal elites talk about over sodomy.

If the Earth is round then the Bible is an unreliable document. Many so called Christians do believe that the Earth is round therefore they are living their lives based on an ancient book that they do not trust. That is the action of a fool.

If you reject a flat Earth based on so called 'evidence' then why keep a virgin birth or resurrection? You either accept it all or none of it. To pick and choose the bits you want is intellectual cowardice. Most Christians fit into this category.

At Landover we KNOW that God has given us His word through the King James Bible. Therefore we accept it ALL because any other position is unsustainable and ilogical.



Repent and accept the sacrifice of Jesus now. Tomorrow may be too late.

Thousands of years of evidence? That's our shtick I believe. Your Atheist "proof" is only about 500 years old. Our proof is the unerring word of the Lord, passed down countless generations. Don't you think that if the Bible was wrong God would have had it corrected by now?
The translation to the KJV 1611 was the perfect moment to inspire the writers to correct this "mistake", but they didn't. It is therefore still true the earth is flat.

And I believe you Atheist need more blind faith than we do. Did you personally check every "proof" of every scientific "fact" before using it? Did you travel around the world yourself, staying awake the whole time? Did you yourself derive what is the gravitational constant? Or did you put your trust in smarter men than yourself and accepted what they told you?

Why don't you put your faith in the smartest man of all: Jesus!
He's not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (II Peter 3:9) and so are we!
