One would say that people going around the world, Astronauts seeing the round Earth, photos of the round Earth, fact that GPS works and of course things like ships disappearing below the horizon would be plenty of reasons to discuss it.

All the claims of a 'globe like Earth' are those of mortal men. God on the other hand, has stated time and time again, 'the Earth is flat'. Who should we believe, the Supreme being and creator of the Earth or a bunch of men who want to get their pictures in the newspapers, expounding 'theories'.

By the way, I have yet to ever hear of a ship disappearing. It would make travel and moving cargo a very risky proposition, don't you think? Please, tell me of all these 'ghost ships'.

You realize of course that GPS has NOTHING to do with the so-called "roundness" of the earth, but rather the triangulation (or more precisely, trilateration) of timed radio signals, right?

Ships disappear only seemingly. When you watch a ship sail away, it eventually starts to look like it is sinking and the last thing you will see is the very top. It is because on the sea your view is not obstructed by terrain irragularities like hills, so the roundness can be observed.

GPS satellites wouldn't work on flat Earth, because the algorythm that interprets the position is written to work on globe and not flat surface. Plus you can't have satelites orbiting piece of flat land.

And how is it possible, that nobody ever found the edge of the world?

Garbage, son. Pure garbage. You can take one of 2 perfectly Biblical explanations:

1. The ship just gets smaller and smaller until you can't see it because it is too far away.
2. The Greek explanation: The eyes emits ray that "feel" the ship. These rays tend to start falling once they leave the eyes. The horizon is thus basically defined as "as far as you can see". People with weak eyes will have a closer horizon.
3. It is sinking. (this is not biblical - Jesus saves boats from sinking. It is nevertheless Godly because God does everything.)

You DO know that algorithms can be modified/created to accommodate/interpret the input data, right? There isn't some all-encompassing algorithm that is written in stone and is applicable to all functions.

It can't be just getting smaller, because that wouldn't look the way it does. You've clearly never sailed.

And eyes don't emit rays, but you know what? Let's give it a try. If your eyes emit rays and they fall down eventually, you would first stop seeing the upper part of the ship and not lower one, so this is complete nonsense.

You have heard of ships and aircraft that have disappeared never to be seen again, right? They sailed right off the edge or flew over the edge and that was that. Thousands of ships have disappeared forever over the last couple of millenia. And Amelia Earhart is a great example of an aviator who went looking for the edge of the world and found it.

I am sure it would. But when any man gets that close to the edge, the forces of God (what you 'theorists' call gravity) pulls them with such vigor as to be inescapable.
Tell you what, get in a row boat, go to Niagara Falls. Row right to the edge so you can see over it, then row back. Tell us what it was like.
