3) Get High!
Ok, this one you really can't do at home, but you can do it out in the world. Stand on the ground and look around you. What's the farthest you can see? Maybe it's a building, tree, or mountain. Now, find some place very close to it where you can get a much higher vantage point. (This also works if you're on a jet and about to take off.) Notice how in the higher place you can see much farther? You can see more of the world the higher you get. This shows the world is flat because the higher you go, the easier it is to see over obstacles. At the same time, it shows the world cannot be spherical. Because if the world was curved, the far distance would forever remain out of view because of the Earth's curvature. It would eternally be over the horizon.

If the Earth was a sphere, it would not matter how high you went, you would still see the same thing. Since this is not the case, the Earth is flat.

I just registered at this forum to post some personal photos I have the chance to make while flying on board a Mig-31 soviet fighter plane. As many of you know, the Mig-31 can reach the Stratosphere (the highest layer of "air" in earth). This was the result:





I was live in there, and I can tell you THAT'S EXACTLY THE WAY THE EARTH LOOKS FROM A VERY HIGH ALTITUDE. This is no NASA hoax, this is myself taking a personal photo. I didn't crash with an invisible wall

And BTW, I believe in Jesus, the bible, and God. Ohh, and I am a commercial airplane pilot, and all I can tell you, all calculations for flights are considering that the earth is round. All "air maps" are based on rounded projections so you can draw a direct line over the air route. If earth was flat, you couldn't fly following these concepts.

And BTW, GPS satellites are way up, you can check this with the GPS system on-board the plane, it takes in consideration the orbit, the altitude, and the distance the satellites are. If any of this calculations are incorrect, you can fly to the land of nowhere.

There was no question to evade in the post to which I replied.

Your continued assertions that earth is spherical in shape have yet to be coupled with any real support. Furthermore, it flies in the face of scripture. You say you believe in God, but believing He exists and believing He is Faithful and True are not the same thing. I wonder if you think maybe the LORD is incapable or simply incompetent to do the things His Own Word, the Holy Bible, talks about.

I know for SURE the Earth is flat as I have gone out on a long walk and apart from a few hills it all appears flat to me! But some friend of mine who I have now disowned asked me what happens to the Sun when it goes from East to West over our flat Earth, does it go under it to get back to East as after all it is not day time all the time. Well after I clobbered him good I came here for the answer
