Thank you brother, I now have a confirmation the world is indeed flat; but why is it so, that when I tried jumping inside a train, I landed with my feet on the same spot I jumped from even though the train was going really fast?

Because you and the Earth are moving at the same speed as you are inside it's gravitational pull, you will land at the same place you started at. It's quite simple really.

People in Australia are not always at the bottom of the Earth because it spins on it's axis creating day and night. The gravitational pull of the Earth goes toward it's core, but because the balloon is inside another gravitational pull, it does not have one of it's own. There is attraction between objects though, but only between really massive objects like moons or planets, it is not proportionate to the size.

No matter where you stand inside a sphere, you cannot percieve that is is a sphere, so the Earth would always seem flat wherever you go, only in space can you see it's roundness. Many things would not happen if the Earth were flat, like day and night, seasons, tides and navigation that relies on the Earth's magnetic core.

I think that you should be more open-minded. First say to yourself "If God says the Earth is flat, does it change anything for me? If your answer is "No", then you are one step nearer believing in God. The benefit of this is that you will live forever with Jesus.

So the point here is that by accepting God's Word you lose nothing and gain eternal life - What's not to like?

Presumably, you have only recently learned the word "factually". You seem to use it an awful lot, without regard to factualities. The first fact you should acquaint yourself with is that no one really thinks the world is flat. The word flat is simply used to differentiate between the actual shape of the Earth and the ridiculous round ball Earth theory. Any fool can see hills and valleys. Thus, the Earth is not flat. It is, however, laid out, with intelligent design, in a plain like manner which is more or less flattish. I hope this information will be helpful for you.

To believe that nothing could change your mind is simply ignorant. I am ready to admit that if sufficent evidence to prove God's existence comes along, I will become a christian. However, the genius of Bill Nye is that he says if anything proves something he belives wrong, he will change his beliefs. It is logical to believe where the evidence points, and that is science.
