Of course there are different time zones, but that is no proof of the earth being anything but flat.

1. Of course it is really the same time. God's watch will show only one time. Man has invented "Time Zones.

2. "Side of the earth"? There is a top side and a bottom side. The bottom side is Hell and in Darkness.

We're all on the moving Earth, and we're travelling at the same speed as Earth. So when we jump up, we keep travelling around at the same speed we were moving at before because there's no force to stop us. Now, if a huge force was applied to the solid Earth (like a big impact) and caused it to stop spinning in a single instant, we'd be in trouble because the Earth would have stopped moving, but since no force was applied to us, we'd still be travelling at the same speed we were going before the impact (really fast). I guess if all the people were glued to the Earth, then the force of the impact would translate to us as well and we would slow down, but in reality we're free to fly forward.

Up and Down are all a local perspective. For a person in the northern hemisphere, the zenith position in the southern hemisphere seems to be "down". But for a person in the southern hemisphere, zenith is what he/she will call "up". Gravity is always aligned towards the center of the Earth, and so the direction perpendicular to the surface of Earth (at any location on Earth) is what will be referred to as "up" (locally). Hence, everywhere on Earth, a person is still walking "normally" straight up. An analogy is to refer to directions using "right" and "left. Depending on what cardinal direction you are facing, the terms "right" and "left" will differ. What is "right" to one person will be "left" for another (if he were facing the opposite direction). Thus, "right" and "left" are not absolute; they are relative. In the same way, "up" and "down" are also relative and not absolute. Up to a person in the north pole is different from what it means to a person in the equator or in the south pole.

I suggest it is because Billy is accepting God's time, which covers all of His Creation.

If your brother is in Australia (and goodness knows, I could understand his wish to be far from you) and God smites him dead at 06:00 local. His Swedish death certificate would have his death recorded as "06:00 local".

This indicates that whilst it is recognised that people set their watches at different times, there is only one real time GMT (God's Magnificent Time) by which all is actually measured.

You didn't cite scripture as to your claim.

I could be wrong as I am just a woman. I just know that if it is 10am in NY it is not 10AM in LA. If anything, it shows even more that the earth is flat.
