My problem after reading the holy bible of my lord

Hey guys!
i'm a very new Christan. so i'm really sorry if this thread is abit dumb.

I just finished reading the bible for the first time after turning to Christianity about 4 months ago.

The bible has ALREADY taught me so many valuable lessons...

but one thing has bothered me since reading our lords book.

after reading the book i noticed god killed alot of people
but satan didn't

infact after researching i found out:
god killed: 2,038,344
satan killed: 10

I heave no discrimination to our lord. i have become a better person since switching...

but after reading the bible...

I fear god...
I hate to say it brothers
But i feel like the reason i pray at night is because i fear him
he has killed so many
why do we not say he is not a murderer?
I don't think Hitler killed that many...

please someone explain to ease this weight

Certainly not. Only God has the right to kill babies. And people acting under the instruction of God. Where did you get that notion?

And it's "Billy Bob", or "Mr. Jenkins", or "sir", but definitely not "Bob".

But you do not seem very Christian; have you never read a bible? Strange then that you should have totaled the number of enemy combatants destroyed and smitten utterly by The Lord of Hosts:

"God ...shall eat up the nations of his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows" Numbers 24:8

"And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood” Isaiah 49:26

How about you tell us a little more about yourself rather than questioning The Lord's will and His intentions.

I also suggest you apologize post-haste to my Brother's in Christ for your rude tone and also, get down on your knees and pray to The Lord for His forgiveness!

Let me tell you a little bit about the nature of Satan.

All that spooky, dark, gruesome stuff-- blood and weird rituals --backward chants and perverted sacrifices -- Satan is none of that.

I'll tell you what Satan is-- he is a disobedient child.

God created him and gave him certain, but limited powers, and Satan dissed God and set up his own court. A pale pretender to the throne, playing at power and desperate for attention.

People are always blaming Satan for this or that temptation or evil act, or they're afraid that he's operating out of the neighborhood day care center.

Wake up people! Satan is not omniscient nor omnipotent. He can't be everywhere attending all the worship services in his name. And no, he can't kill anybody.

All Satan is really about is encouraging disobedience of God. His work doesn't require symbols and sinister atmospheres. You have sex before marriage because you really don't think that there is anything wrong with it - Satan's P.R. office wins on that one. You embrace your gay brother instead of exhorting him -- again, the press to muddle minds is in full force.

Satan's work continues on in many of the most wholesome environments that you can imagine, and he doesn't need to be in attendance. He's got the liberal media and hedonistic Hollywood doing his leg work.

Satan very rarely gets personally involved. And killing people IS NOT within his power. He doesn't even send people to hell. He simply deceives and receives. First, he gets you with, "it's okay. . ." then when your time comes he says "Welcome to hell" and ushers you into the pit of eternal torment.

Satan is down there because he wanted to command and rule rather than obey. But, he deceived even himself. He abides in hell as prince of the damned, but God still calls the shots. God determines the birth and death of man. Obedience is all He asks. Think on it --would you rather rule in hell or serve in heaven? Actually, you can't rule in hell because Satan already does and we all know how he is about sharing the spotlight.

Why would you hate to say you fear God?

Did you really read the Bible (KJV1611)?

If you had read the Bible (KJV1611) you'd know that you are supposed to fear the LORD. (We also capitalize the G in God when we write about Him).

If you did a search of the Bible (KJV1611) for the words fear and LORD, you'd come up with 187 uses.

Including these...

Leviticus 19:32 Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD.

Leviticus 25:17 Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God:for I am the LORD your God.

Deuteronomy 6:13 Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.

Joshua 4:24 That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the LORD your God for ever.

1 Samuel 12:24 Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.

Psalm 2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

The actual use of "fear of the LORD" or "fear the LORD" is used more than the word FORGIVE (95 verses).

So, I'm really wondering if you actually read the Bible.

If you actually did, then you have a serious reading comprehension problem, and you should probably go back into 4th grade and learn how to read (and understand) a book.
