      Genesis 8:2
The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained

We waited until a really rainy day. We tried to make it rain in the house, using the Biblical principle. We went to a room with a skylight that could be opened.

First, we opened the skylight. Rain immediately came into the house.
Then, we closed the window. It stopped raining in the house.
You know I get so sick of hearing atheists and false "christians" obsess over this. How many worlds have they made? None.

Maniacs like Richard Dawkins and Lawrence Krauss are fond of spouting off about evidence. But what evidence they do produce becomes obsloete almost as soon as it's presented, good for book sales I suppose, but what price their souls? When the windows of heaven are opened we get rain and clouds coming through but this is a two way process. I've been reading Acts which contains many eye-witness accounts.

      WHAT ACTS DOES NOT SAY
I WON'T BLASPHEME BY ADDING GIBBERISH TO GOD'S WORD BUT PARAPHRASE AS FOLLOWS: As Jesus was speaking he accelerated up while they watched, straight into a cloud. They were still staring into the sky when suddenly two men in white teleported down who said, 'Why are you men from Galilee standing here looking into the sky? Jesus who has been taken up from you came out the other side of the cloud, banged into the firmament and is now slumped unconscious just over there.'

The Krausses and Dawkinses of this world mock and chortle as they deny God on the basis of no evidence whatsoever, to subvert clear thinking with anti-Christian motherhood statements and logical fallacies. God has no need of such rhetorical devices because He explains once, explains good, and His explanations hold water. The windows of Heaven allow water through and Jesus in. We know that Jesus is in Heaven right now because of an eye-witness testimony affirming the historical record.

      WHAT ACTS DOES SAY
QUOTED VERBATIM FROM THE KING JAMES BIBLE: And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

      There are several points:
..• Jesus started out on Earth
      ..• He ascended up
..• He arrived in Heaven (this is attested elsewhere in the Gospels, I'll append links)
..• The window opened for Him allowed some cloud through (that's why the disciples couldn't see the window itself)
..• This is first hand evidence
..• This proves Jesus is now in Heaven

Dawkins & Krauss and handed the mitten here good and proper. Christian teachers read The Bible and know all about Jesus from the testimony of eye-witnesses who know what they saw and whose testimony admits but a single explanation. These facts thwart attempts to subvert education, facts denied by the "scientific community" (falsely so called) even as they deny Christ Jesus yesterday, and today, and forever.

      But Jesus sets us free.

      FOR TEACHERS I TIMOTHY 3:16...
      THESE FACTS ARE NOT DISPUTED

      MARK 16:19 .. context. . . . .
      LUKE 24:51 .. context. . . . .
      ACTS 1:9 .. context. . . . .

The age of the earth can be established by taking the first five days of creation (from earth’s creation to Adam), then following the genealogies from Adam to Abraham in Genesis 5 and 11, then adding in the time from Abraham to today.

So simple that so called modern science can't seem to grasp it.

Isn't it convenient that so called secular science forgets Occam's razor when it suits them.

            You talk like a Jesuit.

The Earth is very, very old. It goes back even beyond our collective memory. It is actually just over six thousand years, so old it cannot be exactly determined, even by learned Ministers of God's Word.

The myth of the billions or years is an invention of liberal atheists about two hundred years ago. The proof is in the scriptures, if you care to read God's Word on the subject.

I'm quite busy just now sewing. Nevertheless I make time in the morning to read God's word and do what I can to make people aware of exactly what species of maniac these secularist teachers revere. Six thousand years is more than I can comprehend but a couple of centuries is not so difficult. I can remember as a child, for example, talking to the over 80's about events prior to the the motor car. Sometimes they recalled things they'd been told as children and babbled on about how the world has changed, I didn't really take much notice: anyone talking to 100-year-olds notices the circumlocution and it's best just to listen out for key words and then ask questions. They could recall what an 80- or 90- or 100-year-old had told them when they were 4 or 5 or 6 (in my example one subject might be convicts) and that's a span of nearly 2 centuries.

INFORMATION FOR HOME EDUCATORS: A WARNINGTHIS STUFF MAY BE FOUND ON YOUR CHILD'S INTERNET
                1832 Charles Darwin
We have crossed the equator, and I have undergone the disagreeable operation of being shaved… the constable blindfolded me and thus lead along, buckets of water were thundered all around; I was then placed on a plank, which could be easily tilted up into a large bath of water… The whole ship was a shower bath. Captain FitzRoy writes: The disagreeable practice alluded to has been permitted in most ships, because sanctioned by time; and though many condemn it as an absurd and dangerous piece of folly, it also has many advocates.
During the 1700's the "origin" question was discussed by followers of insane rationalist Baruch Spinoza. Having rejected God and lacking any moral compass these wretches lurched from one absurd and dangerous piece of folly to another producing what they like to call The Enlightenment with satanic philosophies of vain deceit proliferating. "These questions, raised during the 1600's, addressed during the 1700's and answered in the 1800's have been settled once and for all who could be so ignorant as to ask them again?" the secularist blurts.

Their own blinkered view of the world God has created for us to live in seeks to eliminate any possibility of a creator ever having existed. Look at the subjects they target. Evolutionary biology, astrophysics, sexual perversions, yesterday I even heard a call for "exo-archæologists" of all things in the quest to demonstrate how, according to their warped belief system, in all of Creation there was never a Creator at all.

Talk about oxymormonic. How can there be Creation without a Creator? There can't. Even as in Him they live and move and have their being these fools would wind back the clock to a dark age of pagan philosophy, rampant idolatry, temple prostitutes, wall-to-wall orgies and the collapse of civic amenities. It has happened before. It can happen again. The pseudoscientific mind is a teeming void of ignorance and superstition in the very face of history. True history preserved for us by God.

Home school science lessons are one place to explain The Truth to eager minds which otherwise will become polluted by nutters like on The Beagle in 1832 who still exist and still proclaim "The science is settled."

They don't even know what science is.

I'm not sure where to start with this one. Although I know several Bible references this maniac might have heard aged 1¼ from a dyslexic nun perhaps the Carbon fourteen fallacy is more helpful.

C cannot demonstrate anything millions- or billions- or trillions-of-years old. Here is an accommodating source which describes some of the faith positions held by self-proclaimed "scientists" in the absence of any real evidence, and the false belief concerning millions-of-years it's made quite plain.

Such childish prattle. I came up with that idea independently (with heathen presbyterian parents who failed to guide me) when I was 7. By the age of 8, I had dismissed that concept as utter lunacy. To hear adults espousing such crap gives me cause to despair of the (lack of) intelligence of so many today.

I have several things to say about this. Forgive me if I repeat past commenters, I didn't read all the comments. (I did read enough to see a whole lot of un-Christian behavior out of some so-called Christians. (Really, Reverend? You think God is OK with you calling people "retard"?) 1)Nobody in the secular world purports that there have been 7 billion people on this planet since it formed 4.54 billion years ago. Even if we are only talking about when life began, which is believed to be roughly 3.5 billion years ago, it started with single-celled organisms comprised mostly of water. 2)Human beings aren't the only creatures on the planet that drink water. 3)When you drink water, it doesn't just disappear. Some is absorbed by the body, some is eliminated as waste, some is excreted through your pores as sweat (fun fact: you are sweating right now, even if you don't realize it. It is occurring so slowly and at such a low rate your body heat causes it to evaporate), the rest is returned to the Earth when your body decomposes after death. 4)You cannot use science to prove atheists wrong. Atheists are atheists because of science. What we have here is a poorly thought-out idea. One which must have sounded great to whoever thought it up, but any critical-thinker, be they Creationist, Atheist, Nontheist, Jewish, or whatever, should be able to see the major flaws in this argument. Forgive the pun, but it just doesn't hold water. I hope any reply I get to this isn't hostile. I'm not trying to discredit Creationism as a whole here, I'm just saying that this particular factoid is not usable as an argument for a 6000-year-old planet as opposed to a 4.54 billion-year-old planet. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

OK, I'll dumb it up for you.

Water on Earth: let's take for example the Island of Tabarca near alicante (is lovly by the way and the ferry ahve glass bottom so you can see all God's fishes under the waters so that you're not get boring on the voyage).

Anyway, water is a finite recourse??

Well, Tabarca is a esmall island. Right? good.

If you take one cow to Tabarca and leave him there she will be on there foreverandever, yes? (Obviously cows die in end but water no, but we'll ignore this bit for now...)

So, the people on island of Tabarca think, hey our cow is forever, no? So they start eat bits off it, on Monday a leg, Tuesday a ear etc etc.

Now if the cow was put there 500 years ago, you would espect there be nothing of cow, cos a leg on Monday, ear on Tuesday, half a udder on Wedensday etc....would be no cow left from like hundreds of year ago, yes?!? cLARO QUE SÍ!!!

Sooooo, ...now using brain.....if there is still a cow on Tabarca TODAY.....it mean that cow was only putted there LAST WEEKEND!!!! Otherways, would be no cow left!!!

Same whit water. Earth can no be more than 6,000 years of old!!
Hope I dumb it up enought for you!

                                YIC, Mari

You're not getting it, Ma'am. Let's say you drink one liter of water right now. What happens to that water? Does it just disappear? Nope. Some is absorbed by your body, some is excreted as sweat, some is eliminated as waste, and the rest is released back into the earth when you die and your physical body decomposes. Unless there's some part of the bible that says that water is finite, and when the people, animals, and plants consume it it is gone forever, then I don't think this argument stands up to critical thinking, even for a creationist.
