A simple exemple would fit your level of intelligence ( Wouldn't surprise me that this isn't enough ) : Pick a tennis ball ( representing earth ) and a basket ball ( representing the sun,). Put the tennis ball at arm length at head level and put the basketball away like 50 meters away from you, which one seems smaller?

Yes, they had two words. But they chose their own pre-existing word, JESUS CHRIST, just as we do today. Iin the list you posted there was no evidence AT ALL for Zeus being called anything with the christ– root.

We have seen how the atheist tries to diminish the Majrsty of Christ by relegating Jesus to the also-rans, deceptions such as Zeus, Isis, Astarte, Molech. These fictional entities have no basis in reality except insofar as they are co-opted by demons to lead people astray.

You are right to bring them up. Planets are yet another example of scientists proving themselves to be CONSTANTLY wrong. When I was a child I was told that there were 9 planets, now they have had a recount and they say there are now only 8. They expect us to believe them when they say that the universe is 13,750,000,000 years old but they can't even count up to 9 properly.

uhm that is not true, we discarded Pluto as a planet because we got better technology to look even beyond and localize many other pluto-like masses and even bigger, so instead of adding planets, we counted them out of the planet category. We update based on new data, that is what science is about. We know things based on what we can prove. You could see it if you look at space with the Hubble telescope. The government couldnt possibly affect a telescope to fool you. The proof is out there.

In fact, I've been thinking about this topic for a few years. I've come into the conclusion that if in fact some stellar objects do not exist, they would have to be outside the solar system. Well, of course the bodies within our solar system can be... fake, too, although that would require a massive conspiracy to exist.
With my current equipment I can't prove nor disprove planets' existence, so I'll go with the easiest solution.

Ah yes, this is an interesting subject, no? I personally don't believe in God, but I like to play with thoughts. As I earlier claimed, I'll go with the easiest solution; they do exist. But it is always entertaining to think from another perspective.

This also suggests that the existence has a finite life, as once the entire line of photons has reached earth, the star would 'disappear'

Well one thought for you might be what would happen if all those fell to the earth. The point has been covered before and I posted some relevant Scripture a couple of years ago. Some of the links are down so I'll repost the main points again.

The Bible is clear that this will happen. This historical event is recorded in both the Old and the New Testaments so we can be absolutey certain that it did happen in the future (at an unspecified time) AND in this case God has even explained why.

The Bible sets forth some details, as much as it is necessary for us to know, concerning the heavens; for example:

JOB 9
2 I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with God?
4 He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered?
7 Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars.
8 Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea.
9 Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.

This is a particularly pertinent passage. The Bible describes how the heavens are stretched out. But God is clear, they will not remain stretched out forever. Perhaps heretics would suggest that this "stretching" is the equivalent of Einstein's "cosmological constant"? The Bible is not some theory, however; it is God's instruction manual for life. And The Bible addresses exactly this point, helping us to appreciate that our present was future history to Job (or to the Psalmists or Prophets for that matter) but now is a matter of fact God spells it out more clearly:

PSALM 104
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.
2 Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

The Bible explains that quite well. Here is a curtain in what is probably a familiar set-up for you.


Notice how God's explanation of the heavens He made rules out the various models proposed by astrophysicists?


The arrangement is tent-like, not infinite-void-type or giant-bubble-machine-type or our-sums-won't-add-up-so-we'll-just-say-the-error-is-a-new-discovery-and perfix-everything-we-dreamed-up-last-century-with-anti-dark-or-strange-type.


The Bible does not say the heavens ARE a curtain but rather that the heavens are LIKE a curtain. In the 2 passages I've quoted there are additional structures mentioned because God decided we would need to know that.

And it is here in the "modern era" that we see the reason why as false prophets rise to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

We are familiar with structures of that type. In the following illustration many of their equivalents may be seen. Pay particular attention to the lighting, how the illumination is not uniformly dispersed. Notice how there are effects similar to the auroræ, how there are openings provided at different levels for different purposes, how anything attached to the underside of the firmament would be approximately equidistant from the observers and how it would be necessary for one of the higher panels to be opened for ingress or egress.

A number of historical events are recorded in Revelation. When these occur they will be unmistakable. Specific detail is recorded which again is well illustrated in pictures and which grossly at variance with current astrological propositions thereby exposing them as false.

All that is very destructive for false belief systems. The wreckage is far greater than anything likely to happen if the supporting material inside those tents were rolled up like a scroll. The Bible uses language we can understand and we do understand. The difference between between Truth and lies, and lies they must be when false teachers who have access to reality persist with sources and cite authorities so far from what can be determined by the simplest investigation.

Christians on the other hand go directly to The Bible and there we learn what the Creator of all that there is has revealed about the sky, the location of stars and planets, what their ultimate fate will be and how that will affect life on earth. It is nothing like any secular "authority" proclaims and that is how we know they are indeed following lies.

OBVIOUSLY it is impossible for other planets to exist. Planets are round, but our earth is flat. If planets did exist, they would be flat like the earth, not round like some people claim. Therefore, earth is the only thing that exists. John 2:13 "anyone who believe that anything exists outside of our world be exiled from God unto Hell"
