The length of time we have called a 'day' , could be different to that of God. A day to him could be an infinite life time to us.

I get fed up with this kind of bullshit. Scientists talk about millions of years so some false Christians start to twist the word of God to fit the secular view.

So first He made the plants, then He made the Sun that would give the photosynthesis, then He made the insects to pollinate the plants. You try doing those steps and leaving more than a day between them and see what happens.

A day is a day. Only a weak minded fool could think differently. It may not be all your fault, you may just be listening to some lying bastard in the pulpit.

No - we're assuming nothing, we're reading the word of God and taking His word for it that He meant what He said.

You obviously do have something against God because when it becomes obvious that God is actually vengeful and intolerant and willing to burn the vast majority of people who have ever lived or are going to live for not following His word you run away with your fingers in your ears and make up an alternative God who fits your preconceptions and prejudices.

There are 2 major flaws in your "think on!" thinking. You do not follow the bible, so you are not a Christian. This of course means that you could not be persecuted for righteousness' sake. As you are a heathen, you are not righteous.

Another thing is that no one here hate you. We are the friendliest forum in Internet. We only say that you are wrong because you are wrong.
We say that you are going to hell if you do not change your current deathstyle because we care. You need to open your eyes for truth and open your heart for Jesus.

Old testament is not bunk. Jesus says so Himself.

John 5:46,47 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

I rebuke you as a cherry picking soft Christian scripture twister. You reject any of the words of our Lord that don't fit your world view. What are you going to do when you finally reach the conclusion you are speeding towards that everything of a narrative or historical nature in the Bible is an untruth? Interestingly Jesus had no problem with the Genesis account. Maybe you think that you know more than He did?

Why so upset? You too can have the Holy Spirit infused into your soul and be as calm and tranquil and have the "peace of God which passeth all understanding" (Philippians 4:7). If I were you, I'd lay down my so-called reasoning, pick up my Bible, and read with an open heart and open mind and call out to Jesus for salvation. What can you loose (except an eternity of Hell Fire and Damnation).
