Using their so-called "scientific method" the sickular scientitians once again claim to have found a "transitional species" between water animals and land animals, when Genesis clearly tells us that GOD created the water beasts on the Fifth Day, and the land animals the Sixth Day, in two completely separate events, so these Scientists get fooled by a demon-like looking piece of rock they love calling "fossil", and start drawing false conclusions around two bones of the demon! As you have pointed out, a halfway house is a contradiction. This creature is clearly a sort of retard; an unholy demonic cross between a lascivious fish and a slow witted newt, the days of which were ended by God as an abomination the minute it wandered away from its fetid pond.

It’s no use those secular scientists pointing out bits about webbed feet – these are common in the Ozarks even in this day and age.

The above is putting at its most generous; I suspect that secular scientists, in their desperation to disprove the scriptures, have cobbled something together out of bits of interestingly shaped rocks.
