Easter candy makes children happy and reinforces in them the loving message that was Jesus Christ's gift to humanity. I do not think that the way to salvation is through negativity, but rather, as Jesus said in Matthew 18:3:

Verily I say unto you, Except ye... become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

I cry when I think of what kind of life the children of Landover Baptist Church must have led to make them believe the hateful things they say as adults. Can't you ever just let go and become as little children?

Candy not only rots their teeth, but has nothing to do with the Holiday. How do you fit eggs delivered by a bunny rabbit into Passover?
I want my daughters to remember the real meaning of Easter, not just think its the day they get a basket filled with candy.

They will have eternal Happiness when they are accepted into heaven upon death. Young age is not an excuse to not worship and praise Jesus!

Even if you weren't opening yourself up to demons by eating them (and you probably would be) think of the effect that seeing a real CHRISTIAN eating something like that could have for someone who is new in their WALK with the LORD!!!

We are not to place a stumbeling block in the path of our BROTHERS and SISTERS, and by eating that pagan candy that celebrates all sorts of unholy satanic and athiestic new age practices, you could very well cause someone who is young in the CHRISTIAN life to backslide!!

Why not spend the money that you would buy that candy from the pits of hell with on something more worthwhile? Buy some BIBLES to give away! Buy some Chick Tracts to give away! You could be such a beacon in this world of darkness if you try. Don't help send people to the lake of fire, help them find the LIGHT of HEAVEN!

The only correct way to eat Cadbury eggs would be to put several of them into a blender, then add about a dozen 'chick tracts', set blender on puree, blend for 5-6 minutes and proudly serve them to your young-uns. Baby Jesus will smile from his cloud with every bite! These special treats are so Godly that I make my kids remove their shoes before digging in!

I advise you to just go ahead and eat those eggs. Did you know that eating eggs at Easter (originally Eostre, the name of the Spring Goddess) is a way of celebrating the start of spring, and the bloom of life on earth? The tradition originated with us pagans, and the egg is considered a symbol of the yearly rebirth of Gaia, the Earth Goddess.

Please take your pagan Equinox celebration elsewhere. As for candy on Easter, if there was a candy that could help children remember the torture and pain that Christ endured as He was whipped and beaten nearly to death, then nailed to a cross to finally die slowly of exposure and dehydration, I could recommend that candy. But said candy would also need to teach children that Jesus arose from the dead three days later and ascended bodily and flew up to Heaven.

That just seems like much too complicated of a message to try to deliver with any food, let alone chocolate. Candy is not the correct medium with which to communicate complex theological concepts to children.

Just on the face of it, I think the cadbury situation is questionable. When you really stop and look at it, the word cadbury itself is just too over-seas-English-sounding.

"Cadbury" is just a few letters away from "Canterbury". Not only is that the name of a filthy filthy book (written in mysterious "Olde English" where you can't tell what they're really saying) (ie, there is opportunity for unseen back-masking recordings etceteras) but I think there was that stabbing of the archbishop of Canterbury, or a priest or someone close to the Catholic Church, at the Canterbury Cathedral overseas and now that date is a famous Catholic feast day or something.

All in all, too risky. Do not associate with the Cadbury Egg.
