Why do you insist on holding to lies about goths when everyone around you tells you otherwise? Many goths have come here telling you the truth on goth. Why don't you listen to them. They are the ones involved in their subculture, they are the ones who should know what people in the subculture do and do not do.

You can't assume that everyone who is not like you is a liar. When it comes to defending oneself in a non-leathal situation, how can one lie? That's not being proud of who you are, and as a whole, humans are a proud species. We are proud of our accomplishments and we are proud of who we are as a whole.... Mostly we are, anyway.

For those who reply: please reply intelligently and maturely. Sometimes, the immaturity level on this forum is sickening.

What is this supposed to mean? Only killers are allowed to lie? You are still young and have a lot to learn, considering the lies you are trying to spread throughout our forum. You should be doing more reading and less talking, though, because you really have a lot to learn.

As to my keys on the keyboard, if I liked that sound so much, I would go and type random things on Microsoft Word.
Nothing that I have said on this forum is a lie. Personally, I don't like lies, therefore I am a very truthful person.

I think we're having semantic issues here. You are rejecting the valid observations of many people. We believe these things are true, yet you call us liars. How can they be lies when they are true?

But they aren't true. I am in the subculture, I know what goes on. Sure, you have a few freaks and posures who can never understand what it truly means to be goth, but these aren't the ones you can trust. Then you have your shockers, such as Marilyn Manson, who are not goth but take the label just because that's what they are given.

All thse people are followers and don't know squat about goth, the scene, the music, or the people. They just think our clothes look cool.

Goths are normally quiet, enjoy the arts, normally are very creative and intelligent, even if some do not like to show it. The average goth will keep to himself and not exactly bother anyone else. There is no baby killing/eating, no Satanism involved for the most part (again, as we are all indeviduals, there are a few who are ritualistic Satanists. Those are few and far between).

There is music involved, and sometimes it is loud and angry, but you will also find the occasional person who loves classical music and even some who enjoy techno dance music.

Yes a goth wears black, but black is just a color. For some people, like me, black just looks better on them than other colors. It is elegant and seemingly endless. Black does not always mean evil. It only means what your unconscious mind makes you want to believe it means.

Now you have had a run through of goth in the sense that those who are really in the subculture intend it to be seen.

No, black looks better on my skin. I personally weigh 105 last I checked. I am darker complected than most because I have Mestizo heritage. Black just flows with my skin.

Answers to all: No, I do not own a black sombrero. I don't like hats therefore I don't wear them.

With this skin complexion, black is a blessing sent by Those On High. Bright colors never have done it for me. The black goes with my hair and my eyes.
