Hello, Christians. I am Robert, and I am a Gothic.
Many of you Christians think that I'm an idiot because I'm calling myself a Gothic when you think that Gothic is an adjective. Well, it is, but it is also a term to describe someone who wears black, who has interests in things that you people think are Goth interests, and listens to music other than Goth music.

As one might see in my username, I am a gothic.
I am very grateful that my brother here has started this post, what a splendid idea, I might have done so myself.

But to the case, I am living proof that Gothic people can be christian, I was brought up christian, my mother is a preacher, my father is a missionary. I never felt misguided as I grew up, no Bathfire, that is correct. I felt imprisoned, my parents got divorced and my father remarried, I hardly ever heard from him since, my mother got remarried as well, but to a man that was clearly psycotic and abused me in six years. A good christian on the outside, went to church regularly and donated to charity.
My mother always knew, but never had the guts to do anything about it. I know what you must think; Her? A Preacher in a real Babtist Church? But yes, it is possible, to top that she threw me out of the house when I was 14 years old and didn't have any place to go. Her reason was that she didn't have the ressources to deal with my problems. My father then popped back into the picture and send me off to a boardingschool for young christians where I became a believer for the first time.
I believe in God when he believes in me, the rest of the time, I think it idiocy to try and crack the code about whether there is a god, simply because we have no mortal chance of knowing.

We only have our hearts. And when my heart tells me someone good and caring is near me, protecting me, looking out for my wellbeing, I like to call that factor God. Because if he is there, that's how he must be. Warm and loving.
He is my guide and my strength, and he doesn't care about whether the clothes I wear is black or have chains, it doesn't matter to him that I dye my hair, or pierce my ears. All my Lord cares about is whether or not I'm a good person, how I influence the world, what I inspire in people. He cares about me! Underneath the eyeliner and the red lipstick, I am still his child, and he loves me inconditionally. Like a real father. And that will never, ever change.

The Ten Commandments does not include a dresscode as far as I am concerned. Actually that sounds more like the Koran to me, with the scarves and burkas.
It doesn't say anywhere in the bible that there are certain colours you cannot wear. Mankind has pierced their ears since the dawn of time.
Being a christian, or a satanist for that matter, has nothing to do with the style you define yourself by, it has everything to do with your actions, the code you live by, and yes Bathfire everyone has a code, whether you're an atheist or not, everyone has a codex of right and wrong, I believe christians say that codex is enheirited in us from the lost paradise? The forbidden tree? Ring a bell?

You have said a lot. Had you instead led a clean pure life, you would be fortunate to merely have to say "True Christian™". But, because you prance about as a Goth, knowing you are going against God's wishes, make a long statement, hoping He sees your feeble words and lets you slide in. Not going to happen.
See, as a goth, when you die,

The heat becomes excruciating as you notice your skin peeling away and your bones becoming visible and black. Flaming and screaming in anguish, you splashdown into the acidic brimstone of Satans Lake at around 250 MPH. You are instantly vaporized and reformed as a tormented soul writhing in absolute terror in the deafening depths of the Lake that Burns Eternal. The pain is beyond comprehension as you gnash your teeth so hard they shatter in your mouth. Satan periodically plucks you from the flames to savagely rape repeatedly and casually tosses you to his infernal minions to rip apart and rape at will, only to be reformed and have this scenario repeated...over and over and over, forever.
Is it still funny mocking our mission to Save your soul? We want you to enjoy Heaven and eternal praise and worship at the feet of our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ.

Look, you seem like a reasonably intelligent person. You can speak and write english reasonably well, you know who Jesus is, and you claim to have a somewhat normal family life (except for the divorce, the neglect, and the sexual abuse that is).

So why is it that you feel the need to rebel? Why the fascination with death and vampires and what not? Believing in God only part of the time won't get you into heaven girl, it doesn't work like that.

When did we ever say our religion is love-based? We base our true Christianity on the Bible -- other so-called Christians do not. They claim to be Christians, but do not understand what it is to be a Christian; if they cracked open a KJV 1611 every once in a while, they might actually discover the nature of the God they claim to love.

Goth and Gothic are completely different. To clear this up before I start the main conversation here, I will give you a brief description of both subcultures.

Goth-Listens to Goth music (ex. Siouxsie and The Banshees, Advent Sleep, XIII Stoleti), sometimes dresses in srange clothes, but it isn't necessary.

Goth-Dresses in unusuall dark/depressing clothing, listens to whatever music they like, has interests in dark subjects.


So, this isn't about Goths. This is about Gothics.


I am here to defind my brothers and sisters. Don't you dare pick at my words and find the most inconspicuous faults in what I say. I am here to teach, not be critisized.

Another thing that you may be thinking right now is, "This is a Christian site, you maggot! Why do you hate Jesus so, and why are you even here, when you obviously worship satan!?"

I do not hate Jesus, I don't even believe in him, nor Satan. I am here to teach, and this is the best way to get my message across to many Christians.

Hardly any Gothics are what you think that they are. Most people who want Christians to die are black metalheads. Black Metal is a form of Heavy Metal that is mostly composed of people who dress in corpsepaint (clearing up the idea that Gothics paint their faces like clowns), and Satanists.

Sure, maybe 5% of Gothics hate Christians, but definetely not all of them. There IS a such thing as a Christian Gothic. Being a Christian is loving God, not dressing properly or completely hating Gothics. While you may not consider people like that to even be true Christians, they are still Christians.

Another thing I've been hearing on a forum post about Goths is that God hates Goths. They also say this about Asians, Africans (or African Americans), and anyone who isn't white. Now, I'm not completely sure what the verse says, but I was baptists for the first 12 years of my life, and I know that somewhere in the bible, it says that God created everyone equal, and that we all are equal to each other. The rich and the poor, the Blacks and the Whites, the Asians and the Americans. So why do you Christians hate people other than your own kind?


Now, ramble among yourselves and others. I'm interested in seeing what "God's so-called people" think about other human beings.
