There is NOTHING symbolic about the Bible.
It is 100% Literally True. Obviously Ritual Blood Sacrifice and Ritual Cannibalism are endorsed, nay, COMMANDED by the Demiurge Yahweh.

John 6:53 - 6

So unless you are calling Jesus a Liar, or the Bible Errant, there is only ONE possible conclusion. Blood Sacrifice and Ritual Cannibalism are clearly the central tenets of Christianity.

Jesus sacrificed his OWN flesh and blood to be eaten by mankind and to appease Yahweh's demand for a Blood Sacrifice from the Sinful humans.

It was not the first time that Yahweh had imposed cannibalism on the Sinful:

You believe that calling Jesus a Zombie is an insult. But Jesus IS undead, reanimated (just another word for Resurrection) physically by Yahweh's Spirit, as were the Holy Dead who were also reanimated at the same time.

"Zombie" is just a broadly defined slang term that is often considered synonymous with "Undead." It can't be an insult if it's true. If one is a TRUE True Christian™ (like me ), you KNOW that every word of the Bible is factual.

Why do Christians always use the word monkey, if it simply the implication that humans are animals, then why not say atheists are horse worshippers, or chimpanzee (chimpanzees are not monkeys) worshippers. We did not evolve from monkeys, we did share a common ancestor though.

Furthermore, humans are animals. Our phylum is Chordata (vertebrate), our class is mammalia. Our order is primate, our family is Hominidae (tailless apes that can gather food with their hands.) Our tribe is Homininae. Our genus is Homo and our specie is Homo Sapiens.

All scientific evidence gathered over the last 200 years validates evolution and confirms that we are in fact animals just like every other living creature on this planet. Do you believe that gravity exists? We actually understand more about evolution then gravity, and it is more solidified in fact and theory.

Additionally, I am not claiming that Darwinism is the answer to societal problems. In fact, from studying Darwinism we can actually learn how to NOT run a society . This of course has no bearing on the truth.
