However, it´s still legal according to United state law, and has been for quite some time before Obama. There have been plenty of republican presidents who did not enforce a law against it, so you can´t say it´s just Obama.

America is a Christian country so Deuteronomy is like English Common law; part of the bases of the American legal system.

But you said that homosexuality being illegal was in the constitution, it is not, so stop stalling.

Also, while America is mostly populated by Christians it has a clear separation between church and state.

Plus, the only parts of deuteronomy that are part of US law are don´t kill and don´t steal, and if you count perjury, don´t lie. Those laws are the same in all countries, no matter what their religion.

And, no, the bible is not American law. The constitution is the highest judicial power in America, and after that comes the federal law.

What a silly question dear child. We know the bible is the word of God and he wouldn't just make up stories for no reason. The bible tells us how to live our lives so that we may avoid eternal damnation. If the bible was made up stories, we'd have no chance of making our way to Heaven.

Anyone who says that the Bible is "just a story" has obviously never read it. As far as stories go, it's a pretty dull read. However the 10,000+ prophecies that have come true, the promises of God that work in our very lives and the laws, prove that it is the Word of God.
