LBC doesn't make the rules, unlike false Christian™ cardinals, popes, and child-molester priests of the Catholic persuasion. They can't save you, only Jesus can save you. Repent to him, not to your false Gods. Ask Him for salvation.

Oh, how tired I am of hearing that "all Catholic priests are child molesters" stereotype. I'm a baptized Catholic I believe in Jesus proudly, just like anyone of a religion of the true god.

You can believe what you want, it is a free world, more or less. But the truth will set you free. Bering a True Christian(tm) Baptist, I am 100% free. You should repent you filthy ways and see the beauty of being in Gods love Vs. on the popes squeeze list.

On the plus side, your priests are not interested in women, just altar boys.

I find it amusing when people who don't have God's love, and stray away, accuse us, people who love God, and work to teach his words to others, assume and accuse of us of being a part of a cult. We do not brainwash, like other "cults" do. We practice the true word of God, and what the bible tells us to do do be true Christians.

This very question is an affront to the glorious work the Lord Jesus has done for his sheep here on earth!! To accuse His Chosen Church of being a common cult like Lutheranism or Mohammedanism or Congregationalism is just sick and twisted.

But the faithful are always to suffer under the persecution of the society around us. As we read in 1 Peter 3:13-18 "And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing. For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit"

Ah, we've heard the accusation many times. So, I've decided to have a look on the web, so we can compare LBC to "cults".

Here's a list from a SECULAR source, with my comments in red:


As can be plainly seen by a review of this eight-point "warning list" for destructive cults, Landover Baptist Church fits NO definition of a cult whatsoever! So all you outsiders can relax, stop suing us for "taking your children away", or stop complaining that your aged parents gave Landover "your" inheritance. (Did YOU earn it? No, I didn't think so. GOD did.)

Landover Baptist Church is NOT a cult. QED.

I am relieved to hear that Landover Baptist is not a cult. I always thought that people who used the King James Only was a cult, but I guess that is not the case. GLORY HALLELUJAH!
