Anyone who bases their life on fiction is truly in a sad state of affairs. These Star Wars fanatics are as bad as the Trekkers. Once when I was out of town, I had the misfortune of being seated in a restaurant next to a table full of Star Wars fanatics and Trekkers. They were LOUDLY debating over the strengths of this fictional character vs. that fictional character and the merits of this fictional weapon vs. that fictional defensive technology. I can't think of a larger waste of time.

I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that I didn't go over and give those weirdos the rebuking and scripture lesson they deserved. I was too exhausted from street witnessing for Christ most of the day, and spending the early evening at Rodeheaver Auditorium watching a debate outlining the merits of Calvinist Theology over Arminian Theology.

It's not that we base our lives on it (though there are the crazies out there), it's that we love our Star Wars (and the Trekkies love their Star Trek). We love debate and it brings us together as friends. Sure the Trekkies still hate the Warsies but that's just a fact of Sci-Fi and geekdom. Most of us were raised on one of the space sagas. I'm not ashamed to say that my mother and by brother both taught me all I know about Star Wars, the rest I learned from the Internet and I can beat them in a trivia game anyday.

Life isn’t about endlessly regurgitating trivia to make some obscure point for some small peer group you have allied yourself with. The differences between Treki and Warsee are utterly undetectable to an outsider. My morality, while we're on the subject, is based on not hurting or manipulating anyone, not holding anyone back, and ultimately living as quietly and comfortable as possible. Where's the harm in that?

Since you could have preached the Word of God and help save them from hell!

1. Shealds Block them its been said in many Star treck epasodes so realy were working on both Cannon's.

2. about them fitting a shuttle in, it would be blasted before it could get close enough to the trench becuse those things are so slow.

1. What "shealds"? If the Death Star had any kind of force field, it would have been indestructible! All it took was one incestuous young man in an X-Wing fighter to fly up to the hole and shoot a torpedo into it. NO SHIELDS! The Enterprise, having a transporter, wouldn't need to get that close. They routinely beam people up and down from miles in orbit, so it wouldn't need to get anywhere near as Luke Sisterstalker did. If the Death Star had any shields or force fields, the rebels wouldn't have been able to get anywhere near it. All it had for it was that it was really large and fortified. The rebels were even able to do minor damage and kill a few DS crew by shooting at it randomly.
So no "shealds".

2. See 1. The Enterprise, on the other hand, has shields. It wouldn't have to get anywhere near the trench to beam in a torpedo, and it could sustain attacks long enough to beam in the torpedo.

3. Captain Kirk rocks! Unlike Luke Sisterstalker who had the hots for his sister, or that perv Obi Wantayoungman Kenobi who wanted to do it Wookiee-style with Luke.
