sylvauria, you claim to believe in the Greek pantheon of gods because you "saw" one of them and "feel their presence" in your life.

At the same time, millions of Christians claim to feel Jesus' presence in the Bible.

There are millions of Muslims who claim to feel Allah working in their lives.

Hindus have a whole pantheon of gods unrelated to the Greeks, and theirs date back much further.

People believe they can reach nirvana through meditation.

People believe they remember past lives.

People believe they have died temporarily and seen heaven.

People believe that angels visit them.

People believe they can predict the future.

People believe they have been abducted by aliens.

People believe the world is controlled by giant lizards.

Your personal feelings and experiences clearly are NOT a good standard to judge the world by. Why not use logic and reason?

By the way, historians can detail how the myths of the Greeks were created and adapted through the centuries, most of them being based on earlier gods of other cultures that started out completely different and changed over time. Why exactly do you believe they are real???

i actually have no tats, no piercings, and have never touched an illegal substance its actually frowned upon by us because it risks esp. further herbs we use are for good and healing. and the image i saw was used with candle magicks no herbs at that time were involved. thanks

gods are EXTREMELY TOUCHY. And EXTREMELY TOUCHY about almost everything.

I have read all the posts here, and this is truly frightening--- that some people not only choose to rebuke Jesus, but they live in woodland huts and worship rocks.

Most people who have actual visions are recommended to mental health clinics.

Your desperate need to feel validated has led you to undergo some ritual or other so that you can claim the title of "high priestess."

You claim to know the Bible and yet cannot see it for what it is.

The Bible has had more impact on human society than your silly pagan-patische of beliefs. It's adherents --certainly the misguided ones who cop out on a true committment to its every word -- represent a powerful force in this world. (We at LBC rest in the power of the Word.)

Your pagan protection means nothing and your curses against us and anyone else you deem against you are laughable.

We tell it like it is in the Bible. We don't sugar coat it. That said, we acknowledge its hard truths-- most of which many in the world have rejected.

The folks at LBC have maintained a mien that is calm and collected. Your responses suggest you are in a spittle-emitting rage.

Are you really angry at us or the parents and other people who have let you down in the past? Are you mad at religion, (no, that can't be it, since you seem willing to accept one of the most bubble-gum versions around) or are you mad at the Bible or God or Jesus or what?

You're clearly hurt and angry over something. And you're using your energy blasting us instead of seeking help from a professional.

Do the members of your "council" and others with whom you play at religion really have your best interests in mind? Where is the money coming from to supply the logistical needs of their worship venues and practices? What do they require of you? Money, unquestioning belief in their ideas and methods, your body? Are you allowed to consider if their teachings are sound, or would you lose your only sense of affiliation to a social group if you expressed doubt? Losing such a connection can be harder than giving up your imaginary friends, Hera and Hecate.

You are encouraged to remain here and consider our position, taking care to mull thoughtfully over the Bible verses kindly provided.

Please don't waste your time defending paganism. We really have no respect for it and will hardly be swayed. We do have more respect for you than you may realize and we are deeply concerned about your spiritual and mental wellbeing.

i am not going to lie i did have amny difficulties growing up and pains so yes i saught else where for love and healing and landed up with pagan faiths. but sense then i have been well and now have a husband and a son. the idea of a high priestess is a hard title to claim as it is more difficult than christian college in a way it is course that last three years three days and pledging your self as an apprentice. but i dont really know any more.

I can see why, lets look at the requirements for being a High Priestess.

• Must be able to perform sex acts with goats.
• Must enjoy the taste of roast baby flesh
• Must be willing to kill in cold blood.
• Must weigh over 290lbs.
• View Dungeons and Dragons as a life guide.
• Thinks she was an Atlantin Princess™ in her Past Life®.
• Be willing to swallow blatant and utterly ludicrous historical revisionism like being part of an "ancient" religion from the 1950s.

Not many women can fill that roll.
