ya know, when a cut gets infected, it's because bacteria has gotten inside it and infected your cells, injecting them with their own genetic material. More bacterium is created, which then breaks out of the infected cell and go on to infect more cells, spreading. the reason cuts heal is cell division. skin cells divide and replace the skin cells that were lost. and i'd give you the reason why you see yourself in the mirror the way you do, but i fear that it would be far too complex for you to comprehend, so I'll spare your ignorant mind the strain
