        Clancy, it is reported, said, "St. Patrick's Day is supposed to be a happy day. Do we have to sing a song that says, 'Come and visit me when I'm dead'? "

                        Extrapolate woman! Extrapolate! We're not here to spoon-feed you. Can you see no Godly parallels? The Scots populated Ireland, were the O'Neills not Scots?                               The Scots were a Gaelic speaking people who came from the north of Ireland to the country that now bears their name. Scotland for those who can't work it out. You could claim that we were all one people but that would seem to discount quite a large part of the history of the islands.

                              You will find that in Northern Ireland there are both Protestants and Catholics. That would be the reason for the troubles.

                              BibleThumpinBlonde, if you are going to cite something as "proof" of a point of view it tends to help if it actually has relevance. Although even if the people in the clip were Irish I would have serious doubts about a comedy show as evidence of anything.
