We find a ginger.

We weigh 'im and slay 'im.

Then we weigh 'im again.

If he weighs 21 grams less, then he had a soul. If he weighs the same after death as he weighed before, then he didn't have a soul.

Naturally, with science, you have to repeat experiments over and over again, so I reckon we'd need to do this to about a hundred gingers just to be sure.

We can do this, though. We can put this question to rest.

Brother Faith came up with one way of proving it, but I don't think he wants to take down Landover and I haven't seen anyone taking up his experiment.
