This is probably a silly question, but if gingers have no souls does that mean that they can do what the like and not need to worry about hell?

Ezekiel 18:4 talks about how a soul that sins will die, but if gingers have no souls, does that mean they are immortal?

This Scripture should put your fears of that happening to rest:

Hebrews 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"

Hmmm, that's a very good question that the Bible doesn't give a clear answer to, AFAIK. Your Ezekiel citation, combined with some from Revelation that I've quoted below, shed some light:

Revelation 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

As I read it, without a soul, they would not be in peril of the second death (which is the death that Ezekiel 18:4 talks about).

A definitive True Christian™ answer will have to wait on a Pastor.

Yes, the Canon says that there are red-headed women in Pastafarian Heaven; it does not say how they got there.

They could have been there forever. They could be Pastafarian angels (and angels do not have souls).

My apologies. The day I wrote that response to you, Landover had been besieged by many whatever and I had been confused flipping back and forth between so many contradictory theologies, and I had not considered your point to the depth it deserved. So, getting back to the subject at hand:

The Canon indeed describes their origin, as you say.

But according to the Canon, the redheads in question were produced by the Stripper Factory, in order to provide Penelope with appropriate company (see Book of Penelope 3:9-10). They had not, themselves, ascended, thus cannot be used as proof that gingers have souls.

Maybe there are parts of the Canon which would shed more light on this question. My memory of it is, quite admittedly, not the greatest, as I read it in the spirit intended (quickly, rather stoned, and a bit drunk [rum, ofc.]).

My apologies for the late reply. You seem familiar with the customs of Pastafarians and it would probably not surprise you that I failed to take up your advice and put down the grog. This resulted in some very nice adventures but I will not bother everyone here with them as they don´t concern the question in this thread.

Here I must agree with you. Nowhere in the Loose Canon is indicated where the factory acquires souls or that they are even necessary. Using them as proof is indeed silly. The other argument you gave is even more compelling:

Reading further in Book of fearsome pirate Pete it becomes clear that even the FSM is unsure of the nature of souls and doesn´t want to be quoted on that. The term soul is used in a broad context in the Loose Canon. In the book of Penelope the word soul doesn´t even occur. It seems the soul is not as important as I thought for a Pastafarian. I will leave it to others to prove that gingers have souls (or that souls even exist).

Well, at least as fellow humans who are discussing a point ... One of the main rules of courtesy toward someone you speak with is to ensure you actually agree with each other on what you are talking about. So could anyone out here define what is a soul ? Then we will hopefully be able to find a peaceful agreement.
