Thank you for taking an interest; I have no idea what a frappaccino is so am unlikely to be drinking one soon. As it happens I'm enjoying a lovely espresso, accompanied by some cake with syrupy ingredients and a delicious Sauternes from early this century. The coffee consists of:
      1.. .Coffee
      2.. .Water
As to vanilla, I never use essence but have you tried vanilla pods mixed with saffron (crocus) threads and walnuts served as an ice cream? This also goes well with the Sauternes or with rose vodka for which I'm happy to include a recipe.

      Vodka Trifle

      .70cl rose vodka
      .some blue jelly
      .stale cake, diced
      .custard
      .whipped cream
      .assorted fruit to taste, diced
      .crystallised rose petals
      .hundreds & thousands (blue) (optional)

      .Place cake into a bowl
      .Add the vodka
.Add the fruit, jelly and custard
      .Top with whipped cream
.Sprinkle the hundreds & thousands (optional)
      .Garnish with crystallised rose petals

I concur. I linked the video solely for the roasting part, not the grinding part. I know one of our Fine True Christian™ Moderators have taught us to stop the video playing at a chosen moment, but being a feeble minded female I already forgot how to.

It hails from the Andean region of Godless South America.
and should I only use coffee from the same region when using it?
This I cannot answer as it never occurred to me to prepare coffee from other regions - let's just say that I have my coffee sources, it's coffee that grows in a very particular climate on a very specific altitude and I like it.

Indeed. Although a hint of milk cream works wonders, too. However, people who put sugar (or even worse, sugar substitute) in their coffee deserve to be burned at the stake or killed by Covid - whichever comes first.

That sounds delicious. Do you grow your own vanilla? I looked into it but it seems that it'd require a hot and humid environment, and building a greenhouse just for a vanilla plant seemed like too much work.

Vanilla does not belong in coffee, it belongs in chocolate (the chocolate I consume grows in the same region as my coffee, which is quite convenient). Sadly, my coffee/chocolate source doesn't grow vanilla on their property, the altitude might be just a bit too high for it.

That wouldn't be East-facing slopes would it? I've had coffee from there (I know the Andes are more extensive than that, though) and very much enjoyed it. The morning sun brings out particular notes but I needed to grind twice as much. At present I am unable to get that. When available however it's from a single estate.

Ethiopian coffee has some high grown varieties and the one's I use are from "Sidamo" and "Harar" obtained directly from the Ethiopian embassy. I fancy they fund their embassies by coffee sales. They also have other stuff (beads & clothes for example and a variety of weird metal objects I can never work out what they are) but anyway the Harar is lovely and sometimes I mix the two. Sidamo is at a higher altitude I believe and can probably be served with milk. But not butter. Which is a type of milk. Even so it doesn't work very well in coffee and after roasting some it seems a shame to overburden the tastebuds with dairy products. Or sugar. Some people add brandy, though. That would probably be better with Harar.

Yes, the east side. The west side, for the most part, is quite dry and therefore not suitable for coffee production.

Also, while butter is a direct product of milk cream, I, too, find the idea of stuffing butter into coffee quite repulsive. Now, natural chocolate has a quite high content of fat (cocoa butter), and while at the first sight, a cup of hot cocoa with fat floating on top looks strange, it is oh so good once you try it. Once you try that, you'll never go back to the stuff that is sold commercially as "hot cocoa"/"hot chocolate." That crap has a higher content of sugar than actual chocolate! Yuck!

As for adding alcohol, I personally find that Kahlua works quite fine in both coffee and chocolate. In small amounts, as it's rather sugary. There is coffee liquor produced in the same area as my coffee and chocolate, but it's more Baileys-like, so I'm not a fan of it.

For tea, the best additive is Peruvian (note: never Chilean) pisco, or, for a milder flavor, Bolivian singani.

Well I agree with you about coffee liqueurs. There is some Austrian stuff too with gold flakes (not unique to Austria where they do have the best feather mattresses) actually more popular in those Iranian café places where you can stand up a spoon in the sludge at the bottom of the cup. Served with syrupy tobacco and tree-bark soup, the soup's not too bad actually. I only tried it so that I'd have something already and they'd stop offering me other cuisine or a puff on the pipe quite intense for soup but alright. Alright compared to the coffee that is but not a bad combination. The earthy stuff was earthy [bark soup] and the bitter stuff was bitter [sludge coffee] and the sweet stuff was very sweet. It all depends on the order in which you take them. Everyone was very polite.

Have you tried Japanese tea brewed at 45˚C? Large leaves but I've never had that. Formosan black (fermented) is lovely though. I'm a bit worried about supplies just now, expecting a price hike. I don't think I've ever fortified tea with anything.

No, I've never had that. I grow chamomile, lemon balm, and mint in the garden, and dry the leaves for the winter months, so that covers all of my herbal tea needs, but I do buy Earl Grey black tea and jasmine green tea. The area where my coffee/chocolate suppliers are also grows tea, I tried it, and my verdict is that they really should stick to coffee and chocolate.

And yes, for the most part tea should be drank with no additions. No sugar, no lemon, not even honey, and definitely no milk - who puts milk in their tea?!

However, as a soothing remedy for cold/flu/coronavirus/swine flu/whatever pandemic they'll come up with next, try this: a cup of black tea with a hint of honey, just a few drops of lime juice, and a spoon of pisco or singani. Actually, instead of a measuring spoon use the cap which tops the bottle - one cap-ful for light flu symptoms, two for more severe. It's a true miracle drug!

Of course, all this stuff is OFF THE LIST for you ladies spenders out there.

I found a great replacement - thousands of cups for $5 - comes with the sugar, vanilla and whitener pre-added so no need to ever buy anything else.

Moving on from coffee, it appears that the tea I was asking about earlier could be from remote Himalayan shrubs inherited from generation to generation over the past millennium, hand picked from plants over 600 years old. The plants are not in a plantation but more-or-less wild and share the soil with a wide range of other plants. Alternatively there is yellow tea (which I've had as golden tea) some of which is produced in very small quantities. Both are best brewed in not very hot water but I can't find the one requiring 45˚C water brewed using a single leaf.

Christians are observed by unbelievers to see whether God's Inerrant Word is borne out in our lives. Restricting ourselves to 99¢ products would suggest He was lying. It's not a question of vanity but of trust.
