If I were you I would speak to one of the Pastors about these things
I do not know why my Father abandoned me, although I have heard from Child and Family Services that he may have been a truck driver. My Mother drank and abused substances during her pregnancies, which is why I, among my other half siblings were taken into foster care. We all have different fathers and do not know any of them. So I suppose that my being born caused him to abandon me, although I will never really know. I do not have a pastor of the True Christian Faith in my community, which is why I am asking for help from the brothers and sisters in Christ on this website.

I need guidance to show me the right interpretation of what to do. I have so much to learn, and really would like some help. I am worried that I will read the Bible wrong and get the wrong idea. I want to be loved and accepted, something I have never had before. Am I searching for the wrong thing?

I get my feelings hurt all of the time too, it's okay! You must gird your loins for Jesus, serving God is hard work!

Don't worry, Miss Galbraith, there is a light at the end of this miserable tunnel we call life.

It's either the bright beautiful lights of Heaven or the burning fiery pits of Hell, but there is a light!

If you want to make it to Heaven, it's important that you read the entire Bible, as a child would with open heart. You will see many things you won't be shown at your average church... that's because most churches are false constructs of Lucifer, the lord of lies.

Once you have read the entire 1611 King James Bible (if you're slow like me, take notes!) you will have a vague idea of the truth of the matter. Now it's time to read it again!

You see, instead of reading John 3:16 every Sunday, the entire Bible should be learned. This knowledge is your key to the Pearly Gates.

Would you like the key? It's a lot of work! If you're lazy, just put it off until you forget and wake up in Hell some day.

          It's your call.

Thank you. You have empathized with me, and have heard my cry for help. I see so much beauty in life, in the pure joy that I am a princess . I have concerns though, because every time I try to open my heart, I get hurt. More often than not, it is the people who proclaim Gods Word that spurn me and send me away. However, you have given me hope that not all people will hurt me, and that there is love to be found. You make me want to rejoice in this quest. Thank you

When you become a True Christian, it just gets worse! People try to hurt you even more, but it's okay, for GOD blesses us for our persecution with Heaven forever and ever where we can watch all of the meanies burn and burn and gnash their teeth and scream like little girls whenever we want! That will be so cool, I will watch that all day.

Here's our Bible in a Year course, offered by Landover's own Brother V to help in your Bible studies.

You should be able to pick up a free copy of the 1611 King James Bible in any Baptist church. I can't set foot in a church yet to get a Bible because I am the bastard son of a bastard (I'm attending the BABS program), so I use this website instead (be sure to select the King James version).

If girls didn't dress like prostitutes and sluts, poor men like this wouldnt fall into their trap. It's up to the girl to do the right thing, she obviously led this man on, and she should have to deal with the consequences. You play, you pay!
                Ok. First off:
Rape is defined as any act of sexual intercourse that is forced upon a person. If God gave man free will to choose between right and wrong, than said man should know how to keep it in his pants before marriage.
                Second off:
The way a girl dresses has nothing to do with getting raped. Rape happens when men aren't competent or charming enough to get their own girlfriends or wives with half the trouble of jail time and/or subsequent child support and holding the girl down and risking STDs and HIV from NOT using a condom.
                Third off:
I think it's highly insulting when people think women don't have a mind of their own. The girl can choose whether or not she wants the baby. And pressing charges IS the right thing to do. There's a reason there are laws protecting women's reproductive rights. There's also a reason why there are laws against rapists. Rape is one of the most personal, invasive thing that could happen to a woman. The poor girl's going to be scarred for life. Why? Because some guy wasn't able to get his own girlfriend and have her consent...and subsequently couldn't keep it in his pants.

So there were over three hundred pages of comments, when I found this thread. Sorry if this has been repeated over and over.

The obvious benefit of the rapist marrying the 'victim' is that it will discourage futher rapes. If you have to marry the one you raped, then you will find yourself in a no doubt very tense relationship. And it will become quite tricky to rape again. Unless you're Mormon.

God gave men a desire for sex, if women exploit that built-in desire by dressing like sluts they can't be raped, they get exactly what they've been asking for. If the woman didn't want to have sex she wouldn't have dressed like a harlot. And because the desire to have sex is built into men by God it is not the man who forces himself upon a woman, it is the woman who forces the man upon herself through her state of (un)dress, so legally and in the eyes of the Lord the woman is always the rapist.

Is that actually true? Rapists are generally blacks, and blacks are well known to not stay with one woman, when one gets a kid they switch to a new girlfriend. So the evidence indicates the exact opposite of your claim.

Why should the girl choose whether or not to keep the baby? What does she have to do with the baby at all? She didn't do any of the work, she just laid there.

No, rape isn't personal or invasive, about 80% of all rape accusations are false*, if rape really was such a big deal to women they wouldn't lie about it all the time.

                    • Re: What can you do if your daughter refuses to marry her rapist?

Hi, everybody, I prefer to remain anonymous while I make this post because many people will not like it, but please try to keep an open mind about my opinion.

I love god and Jesus too, but I have some issues with rape cases and marriage.

I have read about some very disturbing cases involving rape and sexual assault. The worst was a case of a serial rapist. This man would find women alone at night beat them until they were unconscious, unable to defend themselves, and in 1 case to death, he would then rape them as leave them lying there.

This went on for months with about 15 cases before the police were able to catch this person. I'm not sure if it happened but it is likely that at least one became pregnant. Lets assume that just one did.

He was tried by the court of law and sentenced to death. Did the police and courts make a mistake? Should he have been set free to marry the girl who became pregnant? I think everyone is better off that this person be gone from society. His soul is beyond saving. We can say that no man is beyond saving but in my opinion there are some who just can't be no matter how hard we try and frankly I do not want some who has sinned as much as he has in my church. How would my church be viewed in the public too? negatively.

Lets assume this women was unmarried. I do not think a women should be forced to marry him, she obviously did not want this to happen but was unable to stop it, yes this man has the obligation to marry her but he is going to die soon and do you want him in your family?

How would you handle this if it was your daughter? Or just as a general good christian?

                      thank you for reading

If you loved God, you would capitalize His name, and you would follow His laws.

@randomperson321 You did not mention if the events you referred to took place in an urban area or in a field.

If the women did not cry out loud enough for someone to hear (in the city) then The Bible is entirely unambiguous: they should be killed.

As regards marriage - the women would not have any say in the matter, see frequently posted Scripture throughout this thread - The Bible does not say that the rapist should only marry one of these women: only secular laws inhibit that, and in so doing they depart from God's clear instruction.

EDIT: in other circumstances, they should both be killed, or sometimes just the man v.s.

Unless he pays the 50 shekels of silver he can not marry her. I am sorry. Dollars are not sufficient. The Bible tells you specifically to pay 50 shekels of silver.

Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
