Just to clarify, I AM republican and I AM Christian (before any of you ignorant people start saying that I'm a faggot lover or whatever).

Now, I commend Brother Percy for answering the call of God but I would like to know where he was taught this type of reasoning. Brother Percy, you are making assumptions by saying this girl tempted the man. Even if your assumptions are correct (which I doubt because no human being would want to have someone take control over them and hurt them physically and emotionally), why didn't the man who did the actual deed have the self control to not rape this girl. To put this into perspective, I see beautiful women every day who are dressed in a manner that would tempt men, why is it that I haven't raped any women? It's because I have the self control and common decency to not hurt another human being. Now let's have another example, let's say that someday you enrage me to the point where I want to kill you. You do or SAY something that makes me despise you. If I were to track you down and murder you, according to your reasoning, I wouldn't be the one responsible because YOU were the one who tempted me, right? This is obviously hypothetically, I'm not ACTUALLY going to hunt you like an animal and kill you.

I would also like to add that the reason McCain and Palin didn't win the election was because of people on this website. People who think like this make up about 2% of the population and that 2% makes the entire other 98% hate Republicans which is why I need to say this, all of you make Republican Christians look bad!!! No. What I've learned today is that, as long as I talk to the father, I can have sex with his daughter and she needs to marry me - whether she wants to or not. I see no problem with that.
