Fair enough. This part goes with the religion and does not actually harm anyone. I can accept that one. Purely logically assuming that God does exsist and it is possible to be proven. Just assuming of course. This seems like a reasonable thing.

There you have the true nature of a christian. I on the other hand, atheist, would never take a life of another human being no matter if some God or who ever says it isa good or bad thing to do. The rapist did indeed do a mistake and you as a bystander couldn't care less. If I was the one he did this mistake TO, I would care much more. I couldn't care less what a saint he is outside of raping me. Having an impure thought and actually living it out on someone are completely different. And if God would bless my marriage with the guy who had a sudden bloodloss in his brain due to it being drained to another location, then again - Satan is way ber guy. "She will not be unhappy" you say. Hw on earth would you know? Are all of you retarded? We all agree, and the Bible agrees, that rape is wrong. Please point out ONE PLACE where ANYONE has said rape is right.



Here is the point that you, and billions of your fellow humans, miss. ALL the stories from the Bible reveal God's morals to us. YOUR problem is that the liberal Godless society that raised you just doesn't LIKE some of the morality that the Bible teaches. There is one rule we live by: The Bible is the inerrant word of God. Given that, all morality follows, even morality that you find distasteful.

If you want to pick and choose which parts of the Bible you agree with, then you are using rules to guide your selection process and those rules exist OUTSIDE of the Bible. This is obvious since the Bible doesn't have any rules inside it to tell us "This part is true but this part is a 'metaphor' and those parts over there are only valid until the Enlightenment." If that is true and you ARE using a morality system that is external to the Bible to pick and choose which parts of the Bible are good, then you are not a Christian. You are an atheist. You are going against the word of God because you feel uncomfortable with some of his rules.

Think of it this way...you feel inconvenienced by having to obey his word when all of your friends get to "go outside and play" while you have to "stay inside and eat your veggies." You may not like the taste of those veggies, but do you know what happens to those kids who skip their fruits and veggies because they would rather be playing? They contract scurvy and die and go to Hell.

So, if anyone reading this CLAIMS to be a Christian...ask yourself this: "Do I obey all of God's rules in the Bible, or do I find some of them abhorrent and therefore, ignore them or twist their words to mean something that the literal text doesn't mean?" If so, you are NOT a Christian and you might as well just admit you are an atheist who is going to hell....with scurvy.

That is a good point you have made there. I like some of you can actually use your brains. However the reason I´m NOT christian is not because others can go out and play. I just do not agree with simple things like - if someone raped me I would have to marry him so he could be free from his sin. I'd rather castrate him.

Good point, friend. This is also exactly why this Church fights so hard against the notion that the Old Testament should be torn out of the Bible. Many (false) Christians will tell you to only consider the New Testament. But only in the Old Testament (Leviticus) is sex with animals outlawed.

So basically, the Christian you spoke to can use that argument to have sex with their dogs. After all, God did not say it is wrong in the sections of the Bible not torn out

I've had many encounters with deluded individuals. Aint we all deluded then? I think you people are deluded, you think I am deluded and this particular christian thinks we are both deluded and should kill eachother in the progress.

Now then - How do you know the OLD version is the right one? Aint the updates better? Maybe it is then allowed to have sex with animals. I mean going by the morals of the bible not by the morals of the society. Who is there to tell?

Also the bible has not been updated for a while. Like all things it ages. Assuming everything in there is the truth it still lacks some of the modern things. Example internet could easilly be the work of the devil and you wouldn't even know because the bible is outdated. I think someone needs to update.

0) I am not arguing, I am trying to understand what went wrong in your heads. Or oh well, it kind of needs some arguing done. Either way I am not doing this simply because I think all christians are scum and need to be shown that the evolution is true. I do this because I want to understand why are they so convinced it's a lie.

1. Yes. But who is there to judge? There is no ultimate truth unless you are a believer. Then God fixes everything. Very simple and neat. For an atheist like myself - the God is no law. Neither do I trust all the judgement humans do on the name of the eathly laws. But generally speaking, yes, crimes should be punished. Lovely if it would be as easy as lighting striking them down as soon as they sin.

2. If by laws you mean the laws of the Bible then you ask from the wrong person. I am an atheist and I do not believe in those laws. I belive humans (most of them at least) are capable of distinguishing between right and wrong without a book to guide them through it. I assume what majority of the world considers a law will work though. So again, yes, things like murder is bad - should be laws that apply to everyone despide their religion or what ever else.

Man, as a collective effort, has created laws. They agreed to follow them. If a person does not like the laws, they can attempt to have them changed or move to another country that does not have that law.

No, according to me there ARE rapists in heaven, not that there are NONE in hell. I just say I rather spend my time with rapists that have been punished than with the ones that have not.

Over all a christian should not speak of logic when the only reasonable reply againt the evolution they have is: God said it happened differently.
