i know that I'm new to this lifestyle (southern Baptist) and I've noticed there are a lot of rules I must learn and follow. This was the first time I ever received cdd. I guess I just thought he was joking about it or that after a few lashings it would be over that it would be really quick but he wasn't joking and it wasn't quick. I grew up in a family were we didn't have to really watch what we said or how things were said but now I know that I will never cursed again in my life, ever. Actually I feel really bad, ashamed. Its been about 4 hours and it still really hurts.

You make it sound legalistic, dear. That is not how a relationship with Christ works.

How is your relationship with Christ? What do you do to show your gratitude? How do you feel about Him offering to save you from the depths of Hell, for which you are rightfully destined?
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Not so much legalistic but a completely new way of living and acting from what I'm use to and how I was raised. I have aways believed in Christ, even with never stepping foot into a church before I met my husband. Ha that was actually our first date.
I do believe that Christ died for our sins, that makes me try to always be a better person. Right now I am reading the bible daily, going to Bible study and doing what I can to learn more about our Lord and how I can become a true and better Christian. I am truly grateful I have a great husband to guide me and teach me. I feel like I have a lot to learn and I do want to learn as much as possible but sometimes I feel so overwhelmed. Is that normal? I want to do everything to dedicate my life to serving Christ and my husband/family.

It means you're thinking too hard, dear. Christians need not think too hard, remember.

                      I think it's a valid question.

I was in the service, and even when I was in the place was crawling with messicans and negros and chinamen (in the enlisted ranks...the officers were relatively normal, although they did have their fair share of joos).

Now that homo marriage is actively encouraged, I don't even like to think of what a unit photograph would look like.

You sound a little defensive, dear. Is your husband from some latino extraction? You don't need to feel ashamed, dear. You're among friends. We can pray with you to the LORD to cleanse your husband of his darkened roots. He too can be pure and pleasing to God!

I agree it was a very valid question, the answer is no, he is one of the few good men that is not. He can't stand them and definitely is not happy about the homo policy.

You don't have any babies do you? The LORD will not accept them or your husband into Heaven because of the Mary-Worship, you know (Exodus 20:5).
