One of the things that can lead to a path to eternal damnation is mention in Romans 1:30 - Being Disobedient to parents.

Unfortunately I cannot seem to drill that into the minds of my 10 and 12 year old daughters. When I catch them disobeying me or committing sinful acts, rather then learn from their mistakes, they only try harder not to get caught. This includes talking back, sneaking into my room to watch T.V or play on the computer, failing their tests after Bible Study and not giving their full attention at Church Sermons - to name a few.

I've tried all so many forms of punishments. Beatings with the paddle, belt, rod and hand. I've sent them to bed without dinner, made them stand in corners for hours at a time. Even had them perform tasks such as moving a pile of rocks to one side of the yard to the other, then back again.

Still, my Pastor told me that if I wanted to save them I would need to take extreme measures.

I gave his words a lot of thought, but I do not know how more 'extreme' I can get without punishment turning into outright torture.

What would you suggest?

Children need rules and boundaries. As an intern I worked in a secure unit for disturbed kids and I can give you a few tips.

Kids like to feel secure but also in control: removing this from the equation shatters them to their cores and makes them distrust anything that is unfamiliar (keeping them loyal and obedient).

First: enlist the help of a the child's Godparent (hopefully a True Christian™).

Second: tell your child that you and mummy are going to the shops (or anywhere at least a 20 minute drive away from home).

Third: your trusted family friend knocks on the door for the child to open and in an anguished voice describes the awful car crash that involved you and your wife.

Fourth: while the child is reeling from this news the Godparent informs the child that because s/he has not been a good Christian s/he will have to go and live in a home for unwanted children and s/he must pack to leave immediately (any animals must also be put down).

Fith: Godparent drives the child to a predetermined location and explains to the child that s/he has to wait for the 'child police' to pick them up to 'take them away' and that, unfortunately they will never see them again but (and this is very important) they must never let the 'Smiling Man' get them because now s/he has no parents there is no one to protect them and he will be coming to get them.

By this time they should be blubbing and the Godparent can receive a call saying it was all a mistake. At this point the child is asked "do you think God is giving you a second chance?".

And they all lived happily every after.

This will get them to appreciate you a bit more

I do like the idea, but unfortunately I am a single father and our nearest relatives lives over two hours away. On top of that, they are not true Christians.

I only recently found Jesus, and though I have made new friends at Church, I do not know them well enough yet to ask them to help me with something like this. When I get to know them better, I am sure they would be glad to help. In the meantime I will need forms of punishments I can perform on my own.

I am also afraid they may be to old to fall for it. They are Ten and Twelve years old and both are only a few months shy of their next birth days. I think they would realize the whole thing was staged. For example, they would know there is no such thing as a 'Smiling man' 'Child police', etc - And they'd wonder why a Godparent or Family friend came to the door rather then a police officer to give the news of my accident.

It was much simpler in the days when God's law was man's law and you beat them and if they were still disobedient you killed them.

I suggest to hit them in the belly or back if buttocks wont work. A reasonable amount of force is when you knock the wind out of them. It usually take less than 60 seconds to recover the breath, remember that five minutes of oxygen deprivation is safe. According to the five-minute rule, you can hit them subsequent times before they recover their breath.

For your older daughter, social humiliation is your friend. Spray her with male perfume, force her to go to school with sweaty clothes, toss her into mud etc.

Sibling rivalry is useful too. Having a narrow age gap, you can give one of your kids certain benefits. For instance, let one use an up to date cell phone, and let the other use an outdated one, or none at all.

I pulled them out of public school. Nothing but corruption and lies there.

But I am sure I can still find ways to humiliate them in their own home.


Another rather costly situation I have is that during the beatings, their clothes sometimes get torn - either by them struggling or from the belt or rod tearing the fabric. Between them, they have ruined 3 articles of clothing in the last 2 weeks. Not really sure how to solve that problem... I mean it would be pointless is I started hitting them softer.

"There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband."

Personally I would get a list of child sex offenders in your area and introduce the girls to them. They seem upitty so I would marry them off to the interested local singles as fast as possible.

Also, this idea of you being a mother has me very disturbed. If you can't find a woman to take responsibility for your menial tasks, how can you find the time to spread the word of JESUS? I don't doubt your conviction, but get out there and find a good subserviant silent woman to take care of you and yours.

I do not want to speak for brother Laurence Niles, but his advice did sound like something that could be accomplished in an afternoon. If your heathen family members are not willing to cooperate, ask your Pastor to deliver the news to your children.

One could also buy a needle from the pharmacy and fill it with urine and stool. We have one, we call it "the AIDS needle". I fetch it and tell them they will be injected with homo hormones and get the AIDS! The misbehaving stopped immediately.

Home schooling is superior to public schools. Only downside is that you can't play the social humiliation card that easily.

Regarding their clothes, I suggest that you let them use their worn ones and don't buy them new clothes. You save money and they get reminded on their misbehavior. Worn-out clothes have a humiliating effects on teen girls too.

Regarding their clothes, I suggest that you let them use their worn ones and don't buy them new clothes. You save money and they get reminded on their misbehavior. Worn-out clothes have a humiliating effects on teen girls too.

Be careful though, let them think they have some dignity, lest they get even more upitty and turn into rug munchers.

I'm going to dig out some old clothes right now, great advice! Keep them on the floor also, tables are for Jesus' friends, the ground is where the dogs lay!
