Jesus commands that the rod not be spared on children.

Proverbs 13:24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

Children not brought up with the correct amount of punishment they grow up to be liars, murderers and homersexuals.

Is that what you want for children?

maybe i am a bit harsh on religious people
but you don't need to punish your children with violence to teach them to be decent human beings
and i wouldn't mind if they grew up to be gay, because it is their life choice, just like if they decided to believe in god thats the way they want to live

but i wouldn't allow them to be liars or murderers because thats no way to live.

Do you honestly want children being raped (anal) by homers? Jesus tells us in the Bible that the gaywise share the same fate as murderers, some rapists and adulterers.

If being beaten with a rod will save one child from this fate it is well worth it.

Why do you reject God's wisdom in this matter? Jesus knows that sin is rife and gives us a way to save the next generation from a life of drug fuelled anality.

When people choose to be gay they are just as evil as murderers, rapists and liberals.

Of course not, silly! Everyone knows atheists can be perfectly decent when they try. But then, niceness won't save you from eternal damnation! If all you believers in atheism would stop offering such tempting ideas to children, what with your "logic" and "science" and exposure of religion as "magic," and what not, we wouldn't have to work so hard to train our children up in the right way (Proverbs 22:6). So really, it's your fault that we have to work so hard to keep our children pure for the LORD. If you don't like the idea of aggressive punishment, then back off with your rational gobbledygook.

I don't think people should stop teaching religion to their children, it gives people hope and comfort when a loved one passes, but when it starts spreading hatred to people just because they don't follow it then it starts to cause problems
