Men's Meeting Happenings in NYC

As we do each Thursday night, the men at my NYC church gather for prayer, praise, and fellowship and to talk about everyone else at church. (NOT gossiping, just healthy manly discussion)


Well, imagine my surprise at discovering that Sister Ellspeth, who is the wife of Head Deacon Simon Ellspeth, who is the cousin of pastor David Luke Ellspeth, voted for Hillary Clinton. A Facebook page was discovered with her using another name and on it are hundreds of rants about how Hillary is the one to lead our country in the right direction and how President-Elect Trump is going to bring us into war, poverty, and irreversible catastrophe. All the men were in a tizzy talking about it. Apparently Pastor David Luke (who has heard of and respects Pastor Ezekiel very much) is going to have Sister Ellspeth shunned and her membership in the church revoked, since this could have brought scandal and shame to the congregation. He asked what Pastor Ezekiel would have done in this situation.


Folks, this just goes to show you that the LORD will uncover things that we think are hidden (Luke 8:17). Why people even try to keep secrets like this leaves me shaking my head. I glorify and magnify my LORD for His justice and His omniscience. Hallelujah!

Please use appropriate Scripture to support your position if you want to accuse someone of something.

She is likely a witch. Satan is the great deceiver and the idea of placing his agents among Christians must be very appealing to him. The Lord has given us instructions for cases like these. Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live-Exodus 22:18

I hate to say it, but at this point, you need to subject all the women in your church to extreme vetting. There's no telling how many she's corrupted.
