    I Had A Vision

The Lord's Word never misses the mark. In Acts 2:17 we are told that young men shall see visions. Even in the ancient times, the Lord spake through Joel saying the same thing (Joel 2:28). And this morning, I saw a vision.

In this vision, the LORD GOD shewed me a large chocolate chip cookie in the sky. It was falling at a slow rate of speed onto a lush meadow, covered with daisies and black-eyed susans. A man was walking under where the cookie was about to land. I heard a voice like an angel's warning the man to look up lest he be crushed under the weight of this cookie. Instead, he was distracted by a porno on his iPhone, and did not heed the warning! When the cookie hit the man, his flesh was burnt and yet he did not die - his flesh continued to burn as he writhed in agony. Not even the black eyed susans could bring him comfort. I rushed to the man, trying to pour cold milk onto him, but JESUS told me it was of no use since the man did not heed the voice of the angel. I then saw a great army heading into the meadow, glowing as with the Glory of God. The soldiers were fighting demons that resembled crows. The soldiers had bright crosses of gold emblazoned on their uniforms of royal purple. At once, the vision changed to a scene of great joy as Jesus and Pastor Zeke walked hand in hand. Pastor had a huge crown that seemed to be made of hundreds of crowns. Jesus said something to him about being a faithful and loyal servant and then they both vanished.

I don't know what the vision means, but I do know this: in the background I heard people begging to be let inside this meadow but something was keeping them locked out even though there were no visible barriers, and there was a large beast with ten horns that kept flying by every few seconds. Praise God for His many promises! I desire more visions, LORD! Set them before mine eyes and I shall share them with Thy people, Father God!

If anyone is blessed with an interpretation of this vision, won't you obey the Spirit as He whispers unto you and share it?
    Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
    Amen and Amen

I think it's a sigh for me that I should go to the kitchen and bake some chocolate chip cookies.

    Going to the kitchen now!

Maybe it means the church should have a baked goods sale? I'd love to try some recipes me and a friend have shared with each other.
God Bless you and have a wonderful day!

Interesting, Maria, could you elaborate on what you and your friend shared? Someday, you should taste my cookies.

          This is always popular:

          1 dozen egg whites
          3 cups caster sugar
          1 pinch cream-of-tatar
          1 pint whipping cream
          2 tablespoons icing sugar
          2lb strawberries
          9" baking trays (2)

          heat oven to 250°F

beat egg whites until stiff peaks form
          add caster sugar
beat until sugar has all dissolved
          add cream-of-tatar
          beat for a further minute

Put this mixture into the two 9" baking trays and cook in oven for about an hour until firm and crisp on the outside. Turn off oven and allow to cool slowly. Another method is to place the filled baking dishes in a hottish oven WHICH HAS BEEN TURNED OFF and leave overnight with the oven door shut.

          prepare the strawberries
whip the cream with the icing sugar
place 1 cooled meringue on a serving dish
cover it with ½ the cream and about ⅓ of the strawberries
press the strawberries into the cream to make a level surface
place the 2nd meringue on top
cover it with the rest of the cream
pile the remaining strawberries on top like a little mountain

          WINE
An ideal accompaniment for this would be a lovely mature Sauternes or alternatively I can recommend an aniseed liqueur, which is slightly stronger as a rule.

For a moment Liz, I thought you were offering us to sample your tart! But for a drink, I would wash it down with a sharp cherry schnapp to complement your tarty idea.

Your sin and decadence puts you one heartbeat away from an eternity in fire. Is is so written in the Bible. Please, before it is too late, consider finding Jesus.
