True Christian™ is Not About Being Nice

Somewhere along the line, branches of so called "Christianity" came up with the failed idea God is nice. These branches started preaching that Jesus accepted everyone, there is no hell and the homers are good people and we must appreciate the gifts they bring.

That is heresy. When others sin they must hear about it. Thank goodness Landover Baptist Church is here to shake its collective finger at those who sin and let them know hell awaits.

I was so encouraged to read that someone who is not even a True Christian™ preaching this same message. This author and we here at Landover Baptist are experts at telling people what they do not want to hear:

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

You are making a very important point, Brother Mayor Hold.

The Holy Bible teaches us that Jesus is not nice. God's love is a tough love, as shown by all the times God's chosen nation was conquered by heathens (Babylonians, Persians, Romans). God has kept Israelites for 40 years wandering through a desert which could easily be crossed in a couple of months. That's how much He loved them!
God created fossils to test our faith.

    My favorite LBC sermons:
    True Christians are Perfect!
    True Christian™ Love.
    Salvation™ made Easy!
You can’t be a Christian if you don’t believe the Old Testament.
Jesus is impolite. Deal with it.
Jesus is xenophobic and so should we.
Sanctity of Life is NOT a Biblical Concept.
    Biblical view on modern-day slavery.
The Immorality of the "Universal Declaration of Human Rights."
Geneva Conventions vs. The Holy Bible.
    God HATES Rational Thinking!
True Christian™ Man as a spitting image of God.

      Yes, Brother Mr. Mayor:

Amen and Amen. Too many misinterpret the meaning of Ephesians 4:32: Be ye kind to one another. The verse goes on to tell us to forgive as Christ forgave us.

The only way Christ forgives us is if we do everything the Bible tells us to, and that includes being ballsy enough to run the moneychangers from the House of Prayer, shake the dust off our feet if nonbelievers reject our message, and be willing to hate our parents, ditch our responsibilities, and follow Jesus in blind faith. There is nothing nice about any of those situations, yet we will one day hear "Well done!" when Jesus takes us to His Bosom of Eternal Blessing.

I think this culture of "nice" Christianity was perpetrated by people like Creflo Dollar and the apostates like Marilyn Hickey and her lesbian lover, along with Joyce Meyer. Women in the pulpit turn my stomach! Just as sure as Jerry Falwell had a huge head, these mamby pamby Christians are going to get a huge awakening when the matches that light hell fire are stricken on the Last Day.

I glorify God that I can be His Child and yet look down on the lost as the smelly rags that they are. Oh, God is so good - all the time!

      Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
      Amen and Amen

Brother Larry ,if you want a good preacher, which is the total opposite of Creflo Dollar, check out Pastor Charles Lawson, he is usually very honest.
