I use to be Jade. Which is a simular to the Baptist faith but is a break off of the Buddist faith in India. However, I now have lived in the US for 10 years and exploring other faiths.

As sister mary so succinctly put it, there is only ONE True religion. If you want to know the details of our beliefs, look HERE. Also feel free to explore the threads and read them carefully.

Please explain how a sect of Buddhism is similar to Baptism?

Do you read the Holy Bible and follow Jesus? If not, then I don't see any similarity at all.

Must you insult us by calling us "Southern Baptists"? We are simply TRUE Christian Baptists. Southern Baptists, while superficially close, are heretics and will burn in Hell when Jesus returns.

I recall Brother Harry Hardwick from a 2001 interview referring to Southern Baptists as the one true denomination.

In other words no, you don't.

We are a Bible believing, Fundamentalist, Independent Baptist Church. We are 157,286 members strong.

Independent Baptist, not Southern Baptist.

I'm sure one of the good Pastors can give an exact date, and doubtless there are details not made public . . . It's my understanding that during the months following the 2001 terrorist attacks, Pastor Deacon Fred and the other Pastors at Landover determined that the Southern Baptist Convention's response was far too liberal for Landover, and severed LBC's relationship with the SBC. From that point forward, LBC has been an Independent Baptist Church, as LBC was before the SBC was ever founded.

Those unable to attend Landover directly yet who wish the fellowship of a church local to them are sometimes permitted to attend a Southern Baptist church. Southern Baptist IS the closest thing to an acceptable denomination currently available.

Someone was kidding with you. We threw those FALSE CHRISTIAN Southern Baptist chumps out of Landover in the 90s. Most of them were dirt poor and only came to church for handouts. There were even some nigras.
