Would you not consider it impolite if one of us were to enter your sanctuary and speak blasphemy? If you had taken any time at all to review God's Holy Forum you would already know that the only acceptable Bible is the AV1611 King James Bible.

In the Beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth. Genesis 1.1. This scripture is the first verse of the Bible for a reason. It lays the foundation for the absolute truth found in God's Holy WORD, the Bible.

Re: Which Bible should one read?

I personally use the King James Bible. I enjoy the flow of the language. However, I don't think the exclusive use of the King James is required for salvation.

It is essential to read a Bible one can understand. Newer English versions accommodate the natural change in language over time. I am aware that all of you here at Landover believe that God commanded James to order an English translation and that those that did the work were guided directly by God. I am curious as to why you hold that belief.

The A.M.E church does not require the use of any specific translation. We do reject the New World Bible of the Jehovah's Witnesses. The most commonly used are The King James, The Revised Standard, and The New English.

Re: Which Bible should one read?

I had an Old NIV bible that I honestly found better to understand (and can see now its only a ploy) and it is going in the trash bin now from what I have read hear. Easier to understand isnt the true word of God and thus is useless. I will be picking up a new bible soon, and until then am looking up verses online and trying to study as much as I can (from here, this place is a wonderful place of knowlage)

I think I was lead to this forum for a reason I might be a heathen now but maybe I'm not totally to be given up on if my eyes can be opened to the true word.

Excellent decision, friend. The NIV is a satanic, twisted version of God's Word, and not worth the paper it's printed on.

I hope you'll take a look at THIS popular sermon of mine, entitled "Are You Washed in His Blood?"

I am not here to argue with anyone about what they read in the Bible. I just made an honest humble opinion about what kind of Bible a fundamentalist Bible believing person should read. I am not a Jew, but Jesus was a Jew. So not all Jews are bad. I believe the whole Bible is the teaching (Torah) of The Creator, given to us so that we could live long and prosper if followed. So, if you believe the whole Bible written in its original language is the word, teaching of the Creator, then we are all in the same boat. Please remember the Creator calls us to Seek Justice and love mercy, and kindness and walk humbly with our God. Micah 6:8.

I've never been one to enjoy "piling on," but have you even taken the time to read the sermon Pastor Ezekiel was kind enough to link to? Seven tremendous proofs that other "Bibles" are corrupt, and only the AV1611 King James Bible(TM) can lay claim to be the Word of God!!

Brothers and Sisters in Christ! I will tell you NOW that I LOVE THAT BOOK! It brings a tear to my eye to hear so-called Christians new and old talk about "get one easy to understand!" "Get one that speaks in your own language!" That's just good old-fashioned COMPROMISING WITH THE DEVIL!

I BELIEVE every word, LOVE every word, LIVE every word of that Great and Holy Book, the AV1611 King James Bible, preserved from error by God Himself!

Do you believe it? Do you believe it is God's Own Holy Words, from "cover to cover and lid to lid?" I DO! And I will fight any whispering serpent in the garden of the Church that says otherwise!

Maybe your definition of a Jew is different than mine. My definition of a Jew is someone who is a descendant of the house of Judah, a Son of David, etc. Is Jesus not the Son of David, who was the son Jesse, an eventual son of Judah. Is not the genealogy described in Matthew and Luke valid. They both trace Jesus' lineage Abraham and Adam.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem into a poor family where the mother, Mary, was a virgin. Both she and Joseph the “step-father” were of the line of David and the tribe of Judah, fulfilling prophecies from: Micah 5:2, Genesis 3:15, Isaiah 7:14, Genesis 49:10, Psalm 132:11, Jeremiah 23:5, and Isaiah 11:10.

I have read Pastor Ezekiel dissertation on the Khazar Jew's and I would have to agree with most of what he says. I would add one more thing to his treatise, and that would be from Revelation. Where Jesus says, they are the Jews who say they are Jews and are not. They are the Khazars.

BTW; It doesn't matter a tinker's damn who Jesus' step-father was. His father is God almighty, and He certainly isn't a damned joo.
