God is indeed Sovereign! You hear the Word of God, are given faith (Romans 10:17), and as it happens, are ovulating at this very time! I just can't understand how people think there are coincidences when God is clearly in control!

Where is your faith, dear? The LORD tells us children is a heritage from Him.

Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them:
they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
    Psalm 127:1-5

We are taught to regard divine Providence in all the concerns of this life, not just the easy, small things. In all the affairs and business of the family, no one is more blessed than he who is safe in God's Hands. We must depend upon God's blessing, which comes with fear and obedience, and not our own intellect (remember, God hates rational thinking).

If your husband builds his house and family based on the arguments of secularism (money for food, medicine, home, education, etc), then he builds his house and family in vain. All his plans will be of no more value than the ancient Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1-9). After all, one cannot hide his lack of faith and pride in self-accomplishments from God.

If you and your husband do not truly trust the LORD, you have no reason to expect His blessing, and without His blessing all your labors are in vain. The best-laid project fails unless God crowns it with success. See Malachi 1:4.

Seeing how you are now in your mid thirties, by the grace of God you may have another ten years to provide your husband with good, decent Soldiers of Christ. I have one friend who learned to trust the LORD late in her life and in the last ten years of her childbearing years produced 14 wonderful offspring. She was indeed a joy to her husband and a fine example of Christian stewardship; after all, being a woman makes us stewards of the uterus God gave us, not owners, and we must please Him by wisely caring for what He first gave us (Matthew 25:14-30).

That is so sad! I'll pray for you.

Does your husband know that probably the only way you can get to Heaven is by having as many Christian babies as possible?

Nonsense! All you need to raise a child is a King James Bible 1611! And maybe duct tape to keep the babies quiet and in one spot; but what made you think that its expensive to have lots of children? And anyway, even if having children was expensive, God wants you to do it, so you have to obey! (Genesis 1:28)
