Tim Tebow, Sissy?

I need some prayer-counseling.

I watched the SEC championship and I was not too shocked to see Tim Tebow crying on national television:



Since he usually writes "John 3:16" in his eyeliner eye black I normally would say "Good Riddence, you sissy hippy!" But I am conflicted...his bitter and jealous tears ran down all over the Lord's citation as he lusted after the other team's victory. What are the theological consequences of this?

Well, I guess in a way it's erasing God's Word. If you have a Bible verse printed on something, and it's removed, whether by an eraser, paint, or in this case, tears, you are essentially taking away words.

The Bible tells us you will be written out of the Book of Life for this.

Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

I'm surprised at your lack of faith. Crying does not make a man un-Christian. Tebow is a great young Christian man, and I'm still going to be praying that the Lord recognizes his faith and rewards him appropriately for his devotion.

Being a huge fan of SEC football and Alabama being one of my favorite teams, I liked the idea of the Gators losing, but in the end ITS ONLY A GAME! As much as I dislike the Florida team, Tebow is an amazing QB and I have a feeling he is going to go on to be a QB for a very good team, like the Steelers, or the Giants.

On Saturday, Tim Tebow was wearing little under eye patches that said John 16:33, and not John 3:16.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Tim Tebow should have actually read the verse and not just written it on his face.

"Ye shall have tribulation", that definitely happened on Saturday.

"Be of good cheer"; Tim, I'd like to say great job on following Jesus commandment, and not crying all the way to the locker room.
