Re: Problems with my daughter...I need advice.

there is a difference between tough love and going to far. have you ever thought about just sitting down and talking to her? maybe you will learn the reason she is acting this way and the both of you could work out all her problems.

Don't be silly. Since when are problems with girls solved by talking to them? Before you know it they will start talking back. It's a woman's place to serve her husband and you have to learn your daughters that from the day they are born.

1 Timothy 2:11-12 "Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence."

Of course he does. God is a good listener.

              You should try it.

Be wary of false Kumbaya Christians who use a highlighter and scissors to read the Bible. God wants us to read the lines, not between the lines. False Christians will go to Hell:
              Matthew 7:22
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Asking a Christian to prove God exists is like asking him to prove his phone rings because yours doesn't. Make that call yourself! Dial 0800-get-on-your-knees-and-pray.

But of course I do. If I have a problem with one of my children I will discuss these with other fathers or, when he was still alive, my own father to find a solution. Often the solution will be in the Holy Bible. It's an amazing book. But talking with girls is never a good idea. Tough love is what works best for raising girls.

Because they might talk back. Woman are supposed to obey commands, answer questions and beyond that be quiet.

Miss Trooper, you came here to this thread to tell Brother Lucas that everything would be alright if he gave his daughter more freedom. To prove your point, you presented yourself: "Here I am, look at me, it worked for me too. If you give your daughter more freedom, she will turn out right, just like me."
Then you continue to spout all kinds of blasphemies against God and hatred against the Holy Bible, insulting True Christians™ repeatedly, admitting to listen heavy metal (even including it in your avatar), and behaving in every respect like the hateful, feminazi, disobedient, God-hating gothtard Brother Lucas fears his daughter will become.
In short, you have done everything you could possibly do to prove our point: A disobedient daughter needs to be spanked and beaten until she is willing to behave, because if you give her more freedom, she will end up to be just like you. Thanks for proving our point.
                      Sweet Lord Jesus,
I want to pray for those who persecute me, my Lord.
Please, treat their children as you treated those of Egypt, when they upset you! (Psalm 135:8-9)
Dash their little children against the stones for their fathers iniquity! (Psalm 137:8-9)
Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
Make their death and descent into Hell swift and terrible! (Psalm 55:15)
Scatter their broken bodies over the streets of their evil cities, like Benghazi, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mecca! (Psalm 110:6)
                      Praised be Your Glorious Name™.

                      Amen.

I disagree... i was a goth, heavy metal music. partying. mosh pits (trooper will know)

I now have a house, a morgage, a child, a wife. i'm 2 months away from completeing my masters in Herpetology.

                        And i am a non-believer.

I came around by my own accord. Talking should be the first step. Atleast.

Over dinner, sit down watch a movie with her. responsibility, if she keeps her room tidy, or does the washing up, allow her to have her computer back.

She will resent you if you start forcing things upon her. Shes young. Shes not decided what she wants to do with herself, shes discovering new things.

Dont push her away by trying to make her conform to your ideals. She will resent you. Just like i resent my mother. I dont talk to her any more, havent in 6 years. Dont make the same mistakes my mother did....

Spare the rod, spoil the child..... now where have I heard that before? (Here is a hint - KJV1611 Bible )

My daughters, the moment they misbehaved as children, got a switching followed by time in the female prayer closet. All of my girls kept their mouths shut and behaved by the time they were two. One does limp slightly as I got a bit over zealous, I'll admit, but I was a new parent (only my fourth kid) and it was excused by the Pastor.
My girls behave. They toe the line. They do their chores and than God every day they are alive.
