Dear non-Christian who clearly hates Jesus and innocent little impressionable children.


I really don't know where to begin. Let's start with The Rush, shall we? When you say that The Rush never 'sung' about anything negative, were you ignoring the anti-authority, law & order mocking song Red Barchetta where a young boy breaks the law and speed limit while avoiding the police in order to get back to his pedophile uncle? What about the gratuitous vulgarity in Who song Who Are You? Does The ZZ Tops song La Grange that promotes whoredom, alcoholism, and drunk driving set your blackened heart aflutter? What about the entire Desperado album of Eagles that glorifies lawlessness?


Don't even get me started on the Beatless what with their open promotion of Communism in Back in the USSR and the hidden message of whoredom with the lyrics "show me around your snow peaked mountains way down south" which is obviously an allusion to the mons pubis. Or how about the homersexual group sex (there should be a name for this perversion, but there isn't) encouragement of the lyrics "Come together, over me, right now"? Not enough for you? What about the bestiality encouraging song Dig a Pony with the graphic and offensive lyrics "You can penetrate any place you go"?


I would continue, but I'm vomiting so hard right now that I can no longer type. I've never met anyone that hated God and children and America and little blue eyed brown haired baby Jesus and law and order so much! I'm thoroughly disgusted.

Dude, I like rock because it has a great beat and the voices are great, and if you want me to believe you then post lyrics to rock songs that prove it. But most of those songs are about stories and love and enjoying life, y'all just are extremists. I don't know what God you are talking about, because the real God and real Christians aren't this hateful or non acceptent. Just because I like a music that you want to hate on dosen't mean I hate God. He is the king and his love is stronger than anything and it will never endRemember, no one on this earth is perfect and making me feel like the most evil person for liking rock n' roll isn't making you any better of a person. God says nothing about rock being completely satanist. Plus, rap and hip-hop is worse than rock in every way, so why not write a whole article on that and quit bashing on poor rock n' roll please. But it does. You cannot love God and love Satan's rock music at the same time.

Buy yourself a video of Lawrence Welk the music of America and sit back with some milk and cookies and watch something wholesome for a change. Your standing with God will go up a few points.

Not really. I don't like heavy metal or screamo. It gives me a headache, not the lyrics just the screaming and all the loud and fast beats just isn't for me, I guess something a bit lighter light classsic rock, yeah?

I just wanna say sorry about the username, I use it for erery thing, I just think it's funny. I don't know how to change it. So if you could, please tell me how to change it.

And just so you know I only like rock because it has a beat I like. It is that kind of music you jam out to. Or in some cases, relaxing to. Good bands to relax to are bands like Pink Floyd ( one song they have that I think is great to relax to is Comfortably Numb) or Phil Collins (only occasionly, like the song I Can Feel it in the Air at Night), I don't prefer them for their lyrics but the way their voices sound, or because of the nice, soothing beat. But not all songs are about completely satanic things, like Deep Purple's hit "Smoke on the Water" which tells a true story about how when the band went to perform at a casino, but some dude burned the place down with a flare gun. Or like Creedence Clearwater Revival's (CCR) hit song "Fortunate Son" which was a protest song about the Vietnam War. And another protest song about the Vietnam War by the Rolling Stones called "Gimme Shelter" that talked about the horrors of what was happening there. Those are good songs, in my oppinion. I just wanted you guys to know that. Well, thats all I have to say, have a good evening and a great night.

I'm sorry, I ment to say lighter like classic rock. But I couldn't give you an example of classic rock christian bands because I've never heard one. The only type of christian music other than a tune from the hymnal is christian hip-hop or country, which I'm not a fan of either music genres. Hip-hop all sounds the same to me and country is just boring and also sounds the same. If you could help me find a classic-rock styled Christian band, I would be glad. Thanks.

I haven't always been the cultured, worldly, sophisticated, genteel southern woman you have been graced by communicating with on this thread. There was a time many, many years ago that I was put on a bad path, like you are right now. This was before Mr. Brentwood my dear husband, found me worthy enough to shape into the woman I am today. I know all too well what the music of The Pink Floyd can due to young impressionable people. Let me tell you a tale about a young child taken against her will into the den of drugs and hell.


I was a naive 7 year old when my babysitter Janis didn't inform my parents that she had tickets to The Pink Floyd's The Wall concert. Instead of canceling babysitting me, she made me go to the concert with her and her horde of depraved friends. It was when the song you find so relaxing came on, that every person but me, lit up one of those funny, wacky, hand rolled cigarettes. The smoke filled the concert hall and while the song hammered away, so did the people. This was the single most traumatic event of my childhood, which up until then was pure bliss.


Is this what you want to happen to your soul? To let the demons in, take you over using your body and soul for drunkenness, sex and drug use? 1 Peter 5:8 , Romans 13:13-14


Take the Godly advice I am offering you and toss those records into the nearest trash. Just by touching them, you have become tainted.
