Oh Brother Aim, I am so sorry to hear about poor Beau. It is very difficult to let go a friend you have loved so much.

Did your wife happen to leave a recipe book by chance though.. and perhaps some Tupperware? I am sure the LOL's could put it to good use, especially with the Stonefest so close!

I am sorry that I can not ask my wife for the recipe as she was killed last year. She was taking my old dog Beau to the vets and was driving her Toyota. Her throttle stuck wide open and she plowed into a semi tractor trailer, both her and Beau died as a result of the accident.Even though it has been over 6 months since the accident I still get choked up when I think about it. I just can't seem to be able to get over losing Beau that way.

Yes Brother it does! However I am yet to find a good recipe for it so that I can make it from scratch. Perhaps your good wife has one in her fount of recipes she would be willing to share, or perhaps better, make some herself?

Speaking of your wife, I have not seen her around at all lately, or at least since the last fishing trip you were on.. is all well?

I thought you where with him yesterday, I wonder who... never mind. I guess the house is coming along , foundation is done and the lumber trucks are coming every day.

After what happened a couple of months back, I'm not even going to ask.

It's just such a pain to board the dogs, get a sitter for the kids, etc. Also I have to be here in case something comes through on this end.

I hate moving.

The only sister of St. Ambrose of Milan, b. about 330-5; d. about 398. She was older than St. Ambrose, and was born most probably at Trier, where her father resided as praefectus praetorio Galliarum. Even before her father's death she went to Rome, the home of her family, and, before her mother's arrival at the capital with her two sons, had already forsaken the world, elected to live a life of Christian virginity, and devoted herself to the practice of piety and asceticism. On Christmas Day, probably in 353, she received the veil of consecrated virginity from the hand of Pope Liberius. The advice, which the pope addressed to her on this occasion, has been preserved by St. Ambrose (De virginibus, III, i-iii), especially emphasized being the obligations of Christian virgins to preserve virginal purity. After Ambrose had become Bishop of Milan (374), he summoned his sister thither, and found in her a zealous assistant in fostering and extending the ascetic life among the maidens of Milan. To her Ambrose dedicated his work on virginity, written in 377 ("Libri III de virginibus ad Marcellinam" in P.L. XVI, 187-232). Marcellina survived her brother, and died in 398 or shortly afterwards. She also was buried in the crypt under the altar of the Ambrosian Basilica, and was honoured as a saint. Her feast is celebrated on 17 July.

I wonder if we should do a themed buffet, with all the food made to resemble stones and rocks?

There could be round plum puddings, big cheese balls rolled in crushed walnuts, pate and meatloaf shaped like bricks, "butter boulders", etc.

Oh... gosh.. we could even make some lovely fondant designs (to resemble stoning buckets) and fill them with rock candy, or even ... rocky road!

As you may all know I am a big fan of stones. I have quit a collection back in the States (I will be back in the States soon, glory!) and am willing to show them to brother James. May I remind you to the following:

Freehold Summer Stoning Festival

It's an upcoming event that has been away for 5 years, but has returned to Freehold! Me and brother James are organising this festival. I did my share back here with the promotion, making my land available for the fest (You all know I own quit some land in Freehold) and arranging a few things.

Completely off topic, but since Seth hasn't called me, how are things going? I really do have to get down there on one of his visits. I haven't even seen the house plans yet!

Bad news, Brothers; I've heard from my fiancee Sister Daisy (aka Bible Thumping Blonde) and she's apparently alive () and she's gotten wind of this stoning fad sweeping Freehold, and she tells me that she refuses to throw any stones under $1,000 a piece. She wants to throw DIAMONDS for crying out loud!

Sounds like I'll have to double my tithes...... Sounds High Maintenance to me Rev. I guess top quality pie doesn't come cheap.
