There is a difference; Muslims shun homosexuality because of Muslim men's deep seated uncertainties of their sexuality due to popular cultures fertishized male roll models. Alarmed at their own inability to live up to these hyper distorted expectations their project their failings unto gay men.

In Christianity it is completely different. Christ has forgiven Christian men for their inability to live up to media distorted masculinity gays are to be rebuked for their rejection of Christ love.
