Yes, it would still be blasphemy, hatemonger.Originally posted by Didymus Much View PostEven if it contained even more justification for xenophobia, racism, homophobia, misogyny, child abuse, spousal abuse, elder abuse, animal abuse, environmental abuse, and trickle-down economics?

Re: New New Testament
The Bible was written by men inspired by God right? So what if God inspired you to write a new book of the Bible about all the great things that have happened since the time of Jesus? Surely if God were to choose someone for this task, He would pick a member of the Landover Baptist Church because you guys are the only ones who follow his word exactly. Maybe He would want a book explaining how America is the new holy land, since America never comes up in the KJV1611 but it is clearly God's favorite country.

If God wants to change the Bible, He is more than adequately capable of doing so. However, He has commanded us not to add to or remove from it. To do so results in damnation.
Here's an idea: Why don't YOU write a new book of the Bible?
Enjoy Hell.

I did read the responses, and I read yours. I guess I'm confused then. I thought that God divinely inspired men to write the KJV1611. Is that wrong?Originally posted by Rev. M. Rodimer View PostDid you even bother to read the responses in this thread, or just spew out more ridiculous nonsense?

How does this glorify God? You are speaking prattle, wasting His precious bandwidth, in my humble opinion.Originally posted by hankerins View PostIt says "Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you" so if God commanded you to write something else that wouldn't be blasphemy.
Matthew 12:36 "But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment."
Exactly how will you defend your nonsense when you stand before Him in judgment?sigpic
