How do atheists cope with the cognitive dissonance?

There's a lot to confound a person when forced to deal with an atheist (as we at Landover often are). But one of the worst is looking at them and seeing this cognitive dissonance thing in them. Apparently this means believing two mutually exclusive things at the same time. They often accuse Christians of this - like when you have a false Christian who believes in evolution or round earth or gravity while claiming to believe in Jesus. It goes without saying that we at Landover do not do this. GLORY

So... how do the atheists do this? It's simple.

They must know that when they die they are going to burn forever in Hell for not believing in our Lord Jesus. It's almost impossible to have this fact escape you.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Yet despite this they continue to say there is no God and science is right about everything. They act as if they are not going to burn in Hell so they are free to say how the earth and firmament is not the way the Bible says. They ramble on about galaxies and black holes and the earth spinning round the sun and leaning over so this is why we have seasons and not like God said.

I say to them, how can you believe two totally exclusive things at once. How can you throw heresy daily into the sweet smiling face of Jesus while denying your fate in the lake of fire?
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
So, I say that atheists are hypocrites and fools and liars living their entire lives in denial of simple reality. The glory of God is shown to be more magnificent in His preparation of a place for us and His son's temporary death so we can be saved. Hosanna and Alleluia!

Isaiah 34:6 The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.

John 5:46,47 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

Having denied the reality of Jesus these wretches move on to denying the existence of demons. Since demons are a reality too, and are very active in the world today, the "dissonance" must be extreme. In order to accommodate what is plain before our eyes (or ears, in the case of blind persons) the heathen has invented mental "illness" and I ask you: following their last "medical" invention, the so-called microbial theory of infection, now they've gone back to invisible and spontaneous generation for diseases of the mind?

    LUKE 21
    25
    And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Luke knew falsehood from Tuth. The perplexity within the deluded camp of atheism - which they have rationalised away as mental illness, cognitive impairment, superstition and brainwashing - is in itself a sign. It doesn't stop there:

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
    KJV

Our redemption is at hand. Their everlasting torture is about to begin.

Such a good question, Brother Redeemed Papist! I sometimes loose sleep at night wondering the same thing, praying through tears through the late hours for the souls of those children who are doomed to grow up in atheistic and liberal homes. How can people be so willfully obtuse? How can they raise their children to be lost? I think it's nothing short of child abuse and it makes me weep bitter tears, just like the ones I imagine Christ must weep.

These poor deluded souls are so lost, so confused by Demons of Rebellion. They have no idea what they are doing, so lost is their ability to think straight. Here is an image I found that sums up the abusive nature fo the cognitive dissonance to which all atheists are subjected:

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.
