I think that "imagine no religion" is another one of those ridiculous quotes from Karl Marx. I don't know what it's supposed to mean either. Without God there would be no Jesus, and without Jesus there would be no Landover Baptist Church. So what are we supposed to imagine?

Denver was already there, Mother Glynndie. From In Mortal Danger, by Godly Republican Congressman Tom Tancredo, I learnt that:

Denver radio talk-show host Peter Boyles revealed in July 2005 that the Denver Public Library "was spending thousands of dollars annually to purchase the comic-book style publications that graphically portray sex and violence against women. The booklets were easily accessible to children." These are all Spanish-language. Well, that's the messicants for you! But why would a huge library system do this to pander to cholos?! Also in order to make room for Spanish-language "books" many publications in English were thrown out. Simply thrown out! Budgets were slashed, but Spanish-only computer nights were organized. Much, much more. If you ever have time in-between reading Scripture, I strongly urge you to read this book - it's even worse than you think here in Amerca now. Well, at least until George W. Bush and the Godly Government does something about it tomorrow - as I am too sure they will.

But - maybe they got these sinful comics in order to show The Children that women must be kept down? Who's to know?

I understand the original script was a bit less subtle; they called him Roger the Cabin Boy instead of Gilligan, the First Mate.

I am confident that the billboard will have the opposite effect to that intended:
(1) People will read it as "Imagine, No Religion!!" which implies the horror of living without religion
(2) as Brother Nobar points out, one cannot imagine nothing - one must imagine something and they will imagine the only noun in the statement -Religion! And what better subject for imagination!

I think these communist atheists have shot themselves in the foot! Praise!
