Thanks for the Housewarming!

Mother and Father are just delirious with happiness after the housewarming party. I hope to post some pictures later, but some of the highlights:

We secretly deprogrammed Mistress Cookie's card, so when she tried to get through the TC gate, it kept rejecting it. We'll post the video of her reaction on You Tube.

Mother sang karaoke with Brother Hutchins to "Islands in the Stream" and gave him a big ol' kiss afterward.

The imported teak dresser and matching bedside tables were won by Russell Holbeck. He left a $20 bill on the kitchen counter since he felt bad about taking them for free. Rusty, hon, I am mailing you back your money.

A certain TC blonde's man didn't show, but she had fun dancing with a certain other hunky TC. Rumor has it they left together...hush hush!

Be sure to join us for the party next week when I hold my housewarming. I will take care of everyone, I promise! Again, thank you to all the wonderful people that made my parents' housewarming such a success. They look forward to services on Sunday with all of you!

Once I finally got IN (!!) that was one grand bash!

I loved the little appetizers made in the shapes of democratic public figures. And the pinyata (sp?) shaped like President Obama for the kids! Such a hoot!

Next week, you say? My husband has time off next week and perhaps I could convince him to go, provided we are invited of course. It would be quite the drive, but I have been dying to see Freehold, in all its splendor, and finally meeting a few more True Christians™ would be such a joy. Not to mention I'd get to enjoy your lovely company, and see your new home Naomi. I will see if my husband would be able to do this, and I'll get back to you with information on whether or not will be able to make it.

Your kind invitation for your party which already passed, has just arrived today. I would also like to call your attention to the fact that you sent it with a very old stamp, which meant that I had to pay $0.25 to the post office for an invitation which they have delivered a week too late.

Next week, you say? I will consider to be there. However, seeing that you have been surrounding yourself with some suspicious unsaved trash, I'll have to think about it. I rub elbows only with my fellow True Christians™, I wouldn't want to accidentally catch something from one of your "friends."

Dear Sister Basilissa, I am sorry if my proposal to go to Naomi's party has deterred you from going. I realize that I am not yet a True Christian™, and as such it is folly of me to expect to be welcomed at a housewarming party of a True Christian™. I don't wish to be the reason that you don't attend the Naomi's party, and if me not going will enhance the party for you then I will refrain from going. Oh, to be as warm and caring as you. We are going to be the best of friends one day. Unfortunately, Freehold has some strict laws about who is allowed through the gates. I can probably get you hooked up with others that are watching the party via TV, far off site. Perhaps you could sit with Basilissa there. Love the dress!

One day you simply must tell me how you can maintain so much energy! Why, I've never seen someone move from guest to guest and still be so chipper and welcoming like that! The lily is precious! Mother and Father simply adore it. (When you come to my housewarming, dear, I don't need flowers. I am registered at Nieman Marcus if you simply MUST bring a gift.)

I loved your rendition of "Man, I feel like a Woman," when we did karaoke. I hope Father wasn't too bold when he asked you to sit on his lap for the last verse. And Mother really doesn't think you're a Jezebel - she simply had too much punch.

Your outfit was to die for. The Jimmy Choo's and the Jardin d'Elyse were too much - my breath was taken. See you next week, honey!

Now, you know you only had to wait fifteen minutes to get in. You Tube made me condense it, unfortunately - and I wasn't about to sacrifice any of it so I chose not to post it. I wish others could have seen your interaction with that cute blonde security officer. Were those Victoria's Secret, sweetie? They sure aren't secret now.

I hope you enjoyed the appetizers. The little Bill Clinton canapes seemed to go quickly. Did you like the little nigra servers, dressed as pre-war slaves? And did you know that VictoryOS thought they were actually my help? I laughed and laughed when she started to beat one for spilling her wine. (She finally got the joke, by the way)

How wonderful it was to have you and Mother and Father have asked if you'd come back to see them one day. It was lovely of you to help Mother in the bathroom.

And I just can't say enough about the gift you gave them!

Please let me know when you plan to return the crystal salt shaker. The one for pepper is so lonely without its partner.

This all sounds so wonderful. Even without the YouTube video, I can see the entire evening dancing before my eyes.

I will be having my own housewarming party soon! My brother, who's as dumb as a box of rocks, won thirty million dollars in the lottery and has wisely consented to let me manage his finances. He says he doesn't care what I do as long as he gets a new pickup truck every year, new siding on the ranch, and an endless supply of Coors Light. And a pony.

After building that new home, I'll need to find a church worthy of my tithes. You all have taught me well where the bad churches are. Can anyone recommend a good, Godly, Jesus-loving Baptist church (that will let me in)?
