    Authentic Wiccan Poetry

Merry meet friends. As you may not know, Wiccans thoroughly enjoy poetry, and in a spirit of perfect love and trust, I would like to share an example of mine with you.

    The Heart of the Forest

    Blessed be
    My friend the tree
    Blessed be thy roots
From which thee suckles from the Earth
    Blessed be thy trunk
Firm and unyielding with the passage of time
    Blessed be thy branches
Forgiving in their usage in the rituals
    Blessed be thy leaves
Ever renewing, a soft bed upon which to lie
    Blessed be thy heart
For letting me come to know thee

    Yes, my friend the tree
    Let me be
An empty vessel, clamoring for thee
    Fill me
With the love and magyck of the forest

    Oh! My friend the tree
    Let me be
    The flower to your pollen
    Fertilize me
With the wisdom of the ages you have collected

    Please, my friend the tree
    Let me be
Ever watchful, ever protecting of you
    Consume me
    With the passion and need
For the heart of the forest

Blessed be, my friend, my tree

Now friends, I hope you enjoyed that.

Blessed be, my poetry-loving Christian friends

I think you should have used even bigger letters Brother Wash.

I hope to bag this one for this years witch hunt.

And though I would love to join you for your fall festivities, I will unfortunately be unable to attend, as I have pressing business to attend all fall in my home region. And, might I add for no particular reason, my region has secular laws forbidding the mistreatment of womyn who practice the Craft (i.e. witches)

            UNSAVED UNWELCOME, sick witch!
2 John 1:7-11 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

2 Corinthians 6-18 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

If you want to know about trees, read KJV1611 - even the brambles can talk and reply thanks to God.

J'g:9:15: And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon.
Psalms:29:5: The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.
              Psalms:104:16: The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;
Isa:2:13: And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,
Isa:14:8: Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.

Thank you for your kind words friend. You made some excellent points, and I do have a few quick questions regarding your religion and trees now if you do not mind.

Didn't your Jesus himself speak to the trees and protect them?

"And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it." Mark 11:13-14

I was unaware that Christians subscribed to the ideas of psychoanalysis. Is there a scriptural basis for it?

I think you've achieved that already...
Thank you friend, I do like to think of myself as an empty vessel, waiting to be filled with knowledge

Wisdom??? It a damn lump of wood

I thought your Bible was very clear that trees can, in fact, be more than a lump of wood.

                "
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." Genesis 2:17

And there is, of course, the passage you mentioned where the trees where looking for a ruler.

Again, thank you for your critique friend.

Blessed be, my arboreal-knowledgeable friends in Christ

I apologize friend, you are completely right. It seems Jesus was not protecting the trees, but rather laying curses upon them.

"And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away." Mark 11:21

Probably not, but if the cap fits... We are not all ignoramuses, blithely dismissing everything.
Friend, I truly never meant to imply that you were. I apologize again if it came off that way. I merely thought that with Freud being an atheist your scripture bound you not to listen to his theories.

"For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend." 1 Corinthians 8:10-13

And yet you keep having opinions; what value can they be? Have you no husband to guide you?
I merely wish to understand more about your Christianity sir, please forgive me if I have things wrong. Isn't that why we're having this dialogue, as I said I had a few questions about your religion? And no, I am currently husbandless.

You did see the bible verses I posted.

When did I mention worshipping the tree of knowledge? I merely wished to point out that I thought that in your Christianity there were certain trees that had properties beyond being just "lumps of wood"

Yes, but without any help from a witch.
Yes, those trees were lucky they managed to find a bramble so smart. Which again begs the question if those trees were merely lumps of wood or not.

Blessed be, my friend who teaches the way of Christ

Witch of Endor, first of all welcome to our forums!!!

I was Wiccan once like you, but you know what? I was never happy. It was the darkest time of my life.

It wasn't until I binged on drugs and watched "Twilight" all night that I was literally struck in the head by the Word of God that came tumbling off a shelf I ran into.

Now I have given my life over to Jesus Christ and he has made me far happier than trees ever could!!

If you're interested in the TRUTH behind supposedly "peaceful" and "harmless" religions like Wicca, please do what I did, and order every book, DVD and tract available from this man's website: http://www.whitehorsemedia.com/products/?f=6
