I'd rather stay out of it, but we at Landover Baptist may have to intervein in the nasty dispute between Elon Musk and President Trump. The President holds all the cards but in deference to Elon he does not show his hand. We may have to do it for him.

The thing is this. Musk got wealthy from one favor the President did for him. Without that favor he is nothing. That favor was the President accepting the gift of one of Elon's cars. This put the Presidential Seal of Approval on his cars and it was all money all the time after that. The President has never accepted a car before or after.

If we at Landover Baptist issue a press release explaining all that, Musk is done. But the dispute goes on and on and the President seems to be implying he wants someone else to deliver the knock-out blow.

Giving Musk the family jewels may not have been as smart a move as we thought in hindsight, but nobody could predict there would be a cabinet bust up and he* would sell out to Russia. What a courageous man is Donald Trump. He scheduled a massive military parade to celebrate his Birthday. You would think he had loyal staff to make everything go smoothly. Instead, ruckus protestors were allowed to distract the press from the world-wide significance of his Birthday and the display of military might. Then rain fell which made the visuals less than perfect. His staff could have kept the street closed until storms passed and visuals were better. It may take a bit of time, but the significance of his Birthday and this military parade will be understood in due time.

Now, another staff error has surfaced. Thousands of people were seen leaving the parade area before speeches by President Trump and VP Vance. How could this have been allowed? Crowd control means controlling crowds. Lots of law enforcement were there. Were they sleeping? Or, are all of them Biden leftovers?

There are things going on in the world I do not understand. For example, why are nobodies given the Nobel Peace Prize when President Trump is not mentioned? Even he is getting frustrated.

Let's take Iran. Trump is encouraging Israel to bomb Iran to rubble. This will prevent Iran from having a nuclear weapon that it could use against Israel. Trump is bringing peace and should be recognized. Then there is Ukraine. Trump is encouraging Russia to bomb Ukraine to rubble so Russian can have Ukraine and the coal and oil it has. As soon as Russia takes over, no more war there.

Instead of objective and rational evaluation of international leader, that Nobel group just plays politics.

The first numbers on the economy for June just came out. I'd hate to be Joe Biden right now. Employment is down, there are signs of a recession. Problems in the economy today are the result of Biden's dementia. He unleashed to homer agenda. Women's lib? He was all for that. Hunter Biden hurt the economy a lot. President Trump soldiers on trying to get things moving but the damage remains.

Trump is doing great work for farmers. He is cutting aid to them. Yes, he has said many times he loves the farmers. They have responded and voted for him. In addition, he promised to keep all farm subsidy programs going. His goal to Make America Great Again, however, requires farmers get off their butts and raise corn. He is cutting back the welfare payments to them because he knows they will be better people without government handouts. Farmers need to quit complaining.
