I think this is more of the President's effective downplay strategy.
As mentioned in audio tapes from back in March.
By telling the public at large it effects virtually nobody, they will go out and buy and shop and create a roaring economy come November. yes, some more people may die, but that's a small price to pay.Close minded people are just right people who don't want to spend time arguing.

Unbelievable. I'm watching the first Presidential debate, and my blood is boiling. Sleepy Joe knows that he's losing, so he keeps interrupting the President. A real moderator would put a stop to this, but, of course, Chris Wallace is just another fake news Fox News liberal who's totally on Biden's side. He should be fired immediately.
Note added after the debate: President Trump wiped the floor with Sleepy Joe, who looked so frail that I thought they'd have to bring his walker out for him to get off the stage. And, might I add, the President's totally natural suntan looked terrific. No homo, but damn, Donald Trump is a handsome man. President Trump's team needs to insist on changes for the next debate. They must insist on the moderator having a mute button for Biden's microphone.
Whenever Biden starts to insult our President Biden's mic will go dead. Also, when Biden tries to talk over the President Biden will go silent. Now, part of the success that President Trump enjoyed last night goes to the many prayers of the faithful people of Almighty, as they joined together in seeking the Face of across this great land of ours. Why, I've read that some had prayed that confusion would come to Sleepy Joe (which it did), and that the moderator would be rendered ineffective (which truly happened). Here are a couple of excerpts from an article, with the article link following:
